I cook a lot especially since I recently became disabled and am unable to work right now. My husband and I bought an expensive knife set a few years ago that came with 2 pairs of kitchen shears and although they worked great at first, they quickly rusted and started sticking, making it nearly impossible to use them. I bought these because the price is amazing and the reviews were great and I have to say, I am not disappointed. My husband made chicken fried rice a few nights ago and used them to cut the chicken into the small pieces we like. They cut the chicken perfectly and he was done in half the time. My favorite part of the shears is that they come a part. This allows for a better clean and after washing them, you can lay them out to dry completely before putting them back together to prevent rust. I also have used the peeler that is included a few times and it works great! I highly recommend these for the price and the quality.

Both of these items are fantastic.We have had them for a few months and they are still in great condition and we love them.The scissors are sturdy, durable and just as described, can cut through different kinds of proteins and many sheets of paper. You can take the two scissor sides a part for detailed cleaning or to just use 1 part if you want.The vegetable peeler is my favorite peeler we have ever had.It does not look as sturdy as some out there, but seriously works like magic!5 stars for both products. This is a great pair of kitchen scissors. They're very comfortable to hold and use. I love how they can be taken apart and thoroughly cleaned, especially after cutting chicken or meat! And the peeler is awesome too. nice and sharp! and I spent a lot of time peeling a lot of carrots after I receive this item to make my favorite carrots salad. I think both the scissors and the peeler are ergonomically designed so that your hands don't cramp after prolonged use. I was surprised because usually I have to stop and shake my hand out after a little while using a peeler, but I had no problem with this one.

I use my kitchen shears for just about any and everything. I had to purchase this new shears because my husband had purchased a replacement one from a local store and it was extremely difficult for me to use. It did not open easily at all, and when it does not open it doesn't close so what's the purpose of getting one. I have always used kitchen shears to help cut the meat up for my kids when they were younger. I could use a knife but it would still take time. So I've decided to use our shears at the table. I normally have two one for chicken and one for food. I like these shears because they actually open up completely for me to wash them. Every Asian kitchen will have at least 2 or 3 and for the same reason as mine. I would recommend that every household should have a pair of these.

I purchased this in July 22. I purposely waited until I used the set before I would give it a review. #1 - the peeler was a total failure. I only cleaned a thin skinned golden potato and the peeler could NOT skin it. No good here but I waited until I got a proper chicken that I wanted to use the scissors on, which is why I bought this in the first place. Well, the scissors work fine and I am very happy that they separate because these are going to be my meat/chicken only scissor so I can clean them properly. But I do feel cheated that the ceramic peeler did not work while others on here say it worked fine. What happened to the one I got??????? So, I gave this a 4 stars because the set did not work. Only the scissors worked. :-( miffed....

I got these for back up kitchen shears (everybody keeps taking mine driving me completely up the wall) but I really was looking for the peeler because this is a European-style peeler that I grew up on . I find it soo much easier to peel and grip and also teach my kids how to peel. My six year old can use this fairly safely with supervision . This is not top-of-the-line but it does the job it's super sharp and is a great set to have in any kitchen . I would hand wash and not keep it in the dishwasher or sitting in water because it will rust and make sure you dry it well .

Love my kitchen shears and potato peeler These shears are very sharp and cut meat very well I love that they are easy to grip with the rubber handle so they dont slip when cutting The fact that they are dishwasher safe is a major plus for me I even tested them in my dishwasher and was shocked how they have not rusted The potato peeler is one I'm always looking for and easy to grip though im not too crazy about the blade but it does the job well Great set and worth the price

These kitchen shears are great! I use them all the time and it's so easy to clean with soap or put it in the dishwasher since the two sides come apart so easily. There's no worry about germs hiding in the crevices since you can clean every plane of the scissors. The veggie peeler it comes with is OK, not the best ever, but works alright. I really just purchased this for the kitchen shears, though.
