Inspired by the wonderful books of Diana Gabaldon and the hit TV series "Outlander" this one of a kind ring pillow is our take on some of the most inspiring words spoken between the main characters -Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall. The fifth in our collection of Outlander inspired ring pillows is a beautiful Valentine red 100% wool pillow that has been adorned with a handmade antique circa 1905 off white cotton lace appliques rescued from an Edwardian era dress. There is a fringe edged square of unbleached 100% cotton muslin with some of the most beautiful words that Jamie has said to Claire. "Your face is my heart and the love of you my soul." The piece has been attached with imported Irish vintage linen thread. Applied to the pillow is a handmade plaid and lace rose. The bottom layer is made from ecru hand made "spider Lace" so called because of its delicate, feathery nature. The lace dates to about 1895. The upper layer of the rose is made from red, green and white plaid rayon ribbon and is modern. The center of the rose has a lovely beaded dangle keepsake made from green and dark amethyst beads with a hanging silvery charm with a thistle. The center of the rose is made from a silvery swirl with a single diamante stone in its center. Attached is a ring tie made from ecru satin. The pillow measures approximately 10 inches across and is about 9 inches wide. The pillow is very rustic and utilizes lace from our vast collection of vintage and antique laces. This is a one of a kind and any subsequent designs will be completely different due to the limited amount of each lace design we have in stock. Would work for a rustic wedding, country wedding, fall wedding, Valentine's Day wedding, as a keepsake of a wonderful day, a shower gift or just because. You could carefully snip off the ring ties and have a lovely pillow for your boudoir, guest room, couch or to display.
