These cards handle nicely. They also are quite elegant looking. Beyond that, the marking system is quite clever and deceptive. Additionally, I don’t have to wear my reading glasses to see the markings. I don’t use the markings very often at all, but it’s nice to know they’re there and easy to see/read if I am doing a magic or mentalism routine where that becomes helpful.

This is a reader deck with busy graphics which help to obscure the markings. The quality of the deck is good and the cards handle Ok. The suit markings are indeed a quick read as are most, but not all, of the numbers. However, a little reading practice soon remedied that situation so all is well. A riffle test quickly shows a marked deck but failing that, the markings are difficult to see unless studied for a while. Since marked decks should be used under circumstances where they are not expected, this deck should provide good obfuscation of its presence :0).

Great! Love it! I took me awhile to read the code and difficult to read when dealing. Yet it is the BEST magic deck to date.

EASIEST to READ once you get the hang of it. I bought a couple different marked decks and this one is the EASIEST to LEARN. I'm not a magician and It took me only a few minutes for about 2 or 3 days to practice running through all 52 cards, then I had it down. You will be able to instantly tell what CARD AND SUIT the card holder has. Your audience won't figure it out, even though you will worry it might be a little too obvious.

A beautifully crafted deck with the best and easiest marking system I've ever seen. Highly recommend!

Now, I'm not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but I was able to find the secret within 30 seconds of opening the box, and without looking at the instruction card. So, I would assume you'll have to use the deck a bit cleverly to keep the secret hidden from your more observant and thoughtful audiences.When you buy the deck, just use some basic observation skills and I'm sure you'll have a similar experience to my own. If you don't, well... There are courses which can help people like you. :PDespite the ease in spotting certain things, I still enjoy the deck. In particular, I love the impressive tricks you can do with the joker cards. Magical. :)The feel of the cards is quite nice, I prefer their feel to the traditional Bicycle cards by far. However, my favorite decks are the Artisans and Monarchs...If you've handled those before, these won't stack up. :)In conclusion, if you're looking to impress some friends at the right time, and think you have the wit to subtly demonstrate and bring out the 'power' within these cards? I have a few other marked decks (Knights, Gamblers, Madison Dealers, Tycoons). All of them are less obvious when shuffling the deck. The design on the back of these decks is animated in places where there is no marking. So no matter where you glance during a shuffle you'll see the animation. No need to riffle to check. There is no chance these will pass in a game.If you want to use marked cards in a game get Drop Thirty Two Gamblers or Ellusionist Madison Dealers. Markings on these cards are barely visible (if at all) at a distance. They're for dealing seconds.The markings on these cards are visible at a fair distance which would make them good for mind reading with a real fair choice. Don't let the spectators hold the whole deck.

I absolutely love the way that these cards handle, they're very sturdy yet very movable, and the magic tricks that you can do with them are only limited by your imagination. The thickness of the cards confirms their quality, and this would be a great gift for any aspiring magician
