As expected. Well made, sturdy. Easy to roll but also has nice locking feature. Not much to say but seems solid and does the trick

~Happy teacher. Small podiums no longer work when you are handling papers, books, and possibly a laptop or iPad. Also, mobility is important in my classroom. Classroom management skills like moving closer to behavioral issues and standing in different locations to access smartboards, TVs, and whiteboards requires constant motion. I was at a loss until I found this lectern. The shelf is just the right size to store teacher's manuals or copies of worksheets. The top has a lip that holds my laptop and books in place. It was easy to assemble. In fact, it was one of the easiest products in a box that I have ever assembled. There are brakes on two of the wheels. My only complaint is that I continue kicking one of the brakes then trying to move the lectern, which sends me into a small spin. The students enjoy it, but I find it aggravating. I think, however, the problem is with my big feet rather than the product. I would definitely buy again and have recommended it to colleagues.

The lectern is nice looking - a good item for the classroom. It was easy for two of my students to assemble. One reviewer noted that it was kind of light weight, possibly not suitable for a larger person. I have no problem with the weight, but a little problem with the height. At 5' 4" I feel compelled to stand on my toes to comfortably see over the top. I've only used it while wearing flats, but it is a bit on the tall side. The only other issue that I have is the metal rim at the base of the table top. It definitely needs to be there to keep books or papers from sliding off, but it is pretty sharp on the arms. The lectern is not perfect, but is a great item for the price.

Purchased 2 of these for a class about a few agos and have been using them without the wheels coming off. Usually, the wheels come off over time but these are sturdy. I recommend.

I use this every day in my classroom and it's a game changer; I don't notice so many back pains because I don't have to bend over at my desk when I've got this! It fits large laptops fine, and I can even lay a chromebook fully open flat and it doesn't hang off. The lip is big enough that it will fit a laptop no problem. The magnetic backing works really well, too, and I have a few magnetic cups I keep on my side for pens and things. Putting it together isn't too bad, but definitely bring some sort of screw driver so you don't have to use the freebie tools included. My only beef is that the wheel locks aren't really strong, though you also wouldn't want them to be too strong or you'd tip the thing over. Otherwise it's light, rolls well, holds a lot, and looks good!

This lectern is exactly as advertised. It suits my purposes well as a preacher in a small church, although it could be a little wider to accommodate both my sermon notes and big bible simultaneously. However, the shelf is a good back-up. Assembly was easy; be sure to put the locking wheels in the same position on opposite sides -- not mentioned in the directions. It suits our criteria of being sturdy but easy to move, and a clean design. A very good value.
