1498. Rome, the powerhouse of the Renaissance, is governed by the tyrannical Cesare Borgia, a man who has no scruples when it comes to furthering his political ambitions. To secure an alliance with Naples, he has arranged that his sister Lucrezia shall make.

Historical Romp in Several Ways
Not great but enjoyable historical romp in more than one sense: there's considerable nudity, perhaps even for today, along with intrigue, betrayal, suggested incest and assassination, all expected from a film involving this controversial clan. The production values are colourful short of garish, the acting is adequate, and Martine Carol does look good - she was famous for this - with little or nothing on.

Introvabile in italiano
