This book is so well researched & presented. Not your typical spells & such but much deeper in the sharing of the history behind it all. It's all presented in bits of historical information so one is not bogged down in heavy, dry reading. A "must have" for anyone that enjoys folklore & history

Very approachable discussion of subject matter

This is such an interesting and fun book. The author created a book of history and implementations that women as well as men used to enhance their lives.How their lives were inhibited by closed minded society. How benefits of natural herbs and reading the signs of nature improved their lives.Truly a wonderful book to read.

It's a great gift

Although not a practitioner, I loved the wonderful care that Robinson so obviously took when researching this book. It has everything that I came to learn when I chose the book. This tantalizing tome of entertaining lore surrounding magic and food really hit the spot. Reading this taught me large concepts like the powerful role of women in early society to small concepts like how to keep your house fairies happy. (Though I am sure that my fairies think that is really the only important thing!)I really liked the short tales involving food and magic interspersed throughout. I recommend this book for anyone with an interest in religions, magic and food.

Very highly recommend this book. All about the everyday "magic" that happens when you cook and nourish people. It also talks about the gendercide in the guise of "witchcraft" and the knowledge of medical, folklore, and techniques that were lost with the persecution and demonization of women.

Such a wonderful and fun read! Entertaining and educating. Keeping the magic and fun alive!

This was a Christmas gift, and she has not read it all yet, but she was happy to received the present.

Really love the fact that it's about history and knowledge. This is not a recipes book and contents alot more informations about what a kitchen witch is through different legends, myths, history and so much more.

...the quality if the reproduction is not good at all and doesn't do justice to the artwork. My own fault for thinking it was a good deal.

Can’t really put the book down - nice writing style, interesting stories and many new facts together with a witchy atmosphere. The book created with love, totally recommend!

I absolutely loved this book!It's full of tales, stories, historical reference… Everything in it is so interesting and well explained. It contains so many things to learn.I'll for sure keep coming back to this book whenever I need, and I can only recommend it to others!
