Installation is easy, but could be a little tricky depending on your mechanical ability and your patience. Taking the large plastic trim piece off the bottom of the door, without feeling like your breaking it or going to break it (it takes a fair amount of force to remove) or scratch the faux leather finish requires a bit of caution. I work on cars pretty regularly, and it took me about 35 minutes. Not bad, but some were saying it took them 5 or 10 and you should probably expect it to take a little more than that. Fear not though, even with little or no mechanical experience, this is absolutely something you CAN do yourself!! I believe in you! It's took difficult to describe the issue with the old latch, but it was totally fixable with some glue and it's probably the exact same failure on yours. So, there is a chance you don't even need to buy this - I know if I had taken mine apart before I order this part and examined it, I could have likely fixed it. But for the price of this part (around $12) why bother. It's my wife's Tahoe, she keeps her work badge in there, and it's an issue if she cant access the center console. The part I received looked identical to the old one (including the plastic "chrome" accent that some people claim theirs did not have), but it felt slightly lower quality when you you opened and closed it. Not big deal tho, as the factory models are failing in a few years anyway. Just go with this product, it's a no brainer.

This fit my 2015 Chevy Suburban LTZ perfectly and was super easy to install. Installation took less than 10 minutes and that included removing the old one and installing the new one. Appears to be well made, latch works well. What more can you ask...

Works just as good as the discontinued OE handle. So far so good!

The plastic cover pops off on the bottom of the armrest. The latch has two torx screws and one phillips head screw on the bottom - after those 3 are out the old broken latch handle pops right out and new one installed in its place the same way. Re-attach the plastic cover on the bottom of the armrest with pressure only (no screws) - tested & works no issues. Install time: 5 minutes.

I decided to order this center console latch as I had purchased a preowned 2018 Yukon Denali and that latch was broken.I removed the broken latch and installed this one all within 5 minutes.The price was good and works just like the original.I would recommend and buy again.
