Brach's Cinnamon Hard Candy, 2 lb Bag

We love these Brachs Cinnamon discs and are so disappointed that they are out of stock everywhere. They taste great and soothe a dry or scratchy throat.

Some of the negative reviews mention that they received generic cinnamon candies in generic wrappers. If that happens, find out who supplied them, and contact them to get a replacement or refund. Penguin Mints is the current default supplier and they are supplying the brand name Brach's. I have received them twice (July and September). It is possible that the supply they have sent to Amazon may temporarily run out and another third party supplier may slip into the default position.To be clear, the bulk bag they come in is generic, but the individual candies are in brand name wrappers.While leaving negative reviews here will alert people to a potential problem, it does nothing to fix it. Contact the supplier and/or leave feedback on the suppliers page. If contacting the supplier does not rectify the problem, contact Amazon.Others have complained that they got brand name candies but the wrappers were different, and the taste was different. It is quite common for companies to change their packaging up a bit from time to time. The new ones are red and white without the yellow. It is quite likely that the picture on the listing is old, and Amazon does not control the listing. It is also very possible that the formulation of the candy itself has changed over the years. The Brach company was sold to Farley's & Sathers a few years ago, so that may be a factor.It is possible that they are not as hot as they used to be, but it may be that their data showed that they sold more if they are not as hot. Prior to July it had been a while since I have had them, so I can't say if they are different. They are still very tasty and I recommend them.

Best cinnamon candy around

I thought we were getting REAL and ONLY cinnamon candy. It's some combination of real and artificial. Does anyone make REAL and ONLY CINNAMON candy anymore?

I'm a cinnamon addict. these have become very hard to find but they are so much better than anything else I've had. not sure why they are so expensive. used to be able to buy them in the grocery store by weight. you have to check the different weights and prices available to find the best deal. I kinda like the 2 lb bag...more just seems out of control. I give in every couple of months and get some.

It appears that trying to find Brach's Cinnamon hard candy is getting harder all the time;at least in New Hampshire. I am not sure if Brach is scaling back or if Cinnamon is not afavorite flavor anymore.So I went to Amazon, and voila, Brach's Cinnamon.I think the flavor has about the right amount of cinnamon, from what I remember, and amglad it is still available. They certainly went like hot cakes at work. So no complaints fromco-workers either.The candy arrived in a timely fashion and was packaged appropriately. No complaints here.Well done and thank you Brach and Amazon...ADDENDUM 1/14/2014: I have purchased another bad of these delicious candies and are stilldelighted with them.
