Just right. Fixed my air compressor motor.

Ordered one as a spare for our home AC compressor motor. The listing states this is a "Run Capacitor" but in my application it works as a "Start Capacitor". This is the Starting Capacitor needed to get our AC compressor running. AC failed on a Friday afternoon and I had to buy one of these locally for three times the price of this one on Amazon. It is a Genteq brand, not a cheap "knock off" brand.

Hayward pool pump stopped working twice this year. First was a fuse in the control box, then pump housing developed a small leak that squirted water on the capacitor housing making it fail. Local pool supply company only sells parts to pros so I was happy that I could find all necessary parts on Amazon to get pump back in operation. Capacitor was shipped in two days, plugged it in and pump was back in operation.

Return of duplicated order by supplier was not cost effective for the customer.

I searched by Genteq part # 27L1358 and got this larger 30uf/ 370 VAC which doesn’t fit in my pump housing. I already had one that didn’t fit and now have two ! In most cases, it does not make any difference. However it does on my pool pump that sits outside.

I found exactly the product I needed to fix my air conditioner. For less than $15 I saved myself am air conditioning service call, plus parts. And, I could do the job on my own schedule rather than someone else's.

I had trouble finding this part from anyone. Every place would sell me a "compatible" part that never was so when I ordered this I was a bit skeptical that it would be another "compatible" but it was exactly what I ordered and wanted. Just as advertised.

If you order this make sure it fits first. It doesn't have the dimensions!
