Not sure how canned shaving cream became the standard, but, this is proof that all "modern advances" are not better than their predecessors

I'm new to using shave soaps but I have tried 5 different brands and this is the least of them. It smell is like a lemony old fashion soap, which is great, but it just doesn't lather. I've tried a few different lathering methods, but all I end up a watery soapy foam that doesn't last. I was very disappointed, because the price is awesome.

Seems to give closer shave than some shaving creams, very comfortable.

The soap looks like it will lather well but it doesn’t smell nice. Like mosquito guard! Not good. 2 stars.
