Hooked Up Book 2 Paperback – September 5, 2016

Okay so I have read books 1-3 own them all. I was like what the hell did I get myself into when I first started reading book 1. I could not put these books down as I wanted more. Pearl and Alexandre made we want to be their friends. This story line has everything that you could image in any book series. If I had it my way we should have around 3 more book and I would have been happy. The love that came out of this made me wonder if this kind of love story could really be true.. Could not look, lust and love after the one they are with unconditionally. It made you believe in the impossible. The sexy and love making in this series was off the hook good. This was dangerous, suspenseful, crazy, loving, fun, funny, heartbreaking and full of wonderful all in one. Thank you for this read. I give these books a 5 STAR because once I started reading I could not put it down. I cried a lot while reading these books. I felt like I had made some new friends overall and the way it opened me up on the inside which is hard to do it that reason for the high stars. I loved the Pearl series but this puts an entirely new spin on it. Alexandre is so in love with Pearl and now she realizes she made a big mistake listening to someone else. But I am glad that she was able to see the truth and made her soul happy again with her one true love. I totally enjoyed reading this second book in this series. Great storyline and characters with romance, heartbreak and tears. Can't wait to start the last book in this series.

Wow, what a messy plot and the entire lot of characters are a mess! After reading the first book of this series, I wanted to know more, but was leery of the dual POVs. The author did a tremendous job though with less redundancy and more progression of time and scenery. The sex is smoking hot and details are juicy. Be prepared for both heterosexual and bisexual scenes. A smidgen of BDSM, but nothing crazy. The majority is plain vanilla.The cliffhanger ending is a doozy! I'm completely wrapped up in the story now and looking forward to completing this trilogy with book three immediately. The author provides a Playlist of Music for both Alexandre and Pearl at the back of the book too. A nice bonus feature since music is featured prominently in the story.100% recommend to readers that enjoy erotic romance, romance, French people, world travel, alpha men and independent successful women.

I’m downloading the third installment right after completing this review! I love this series and will support the authors work in print also. I’ve read the first two in 2 days. This is exciting and relatable for woman who are in their forties or have dated younger men. I love Alessandre’s intelligence and confidence. He works Pearl from the moment they meet in that coffee shop! Real men need to be this way, to actually know what they want in a woman and not confuse lust with love and affection. To have the courage to pursue passion! The author created a great plot that never lacked for twists and turns. I love a smart, well dressed, sexually confident man, nothing compares with the Alpha male created in this book.

I received the first of this series for free so I decided to give it a chance. I didn’t realize at the time it was a cheesy love story that was drawn out into a series. But I gave it 3 stars because the writing was good and I was intrigued enough to get the 2nd book (the one I’m reviewing). But things just started getting silly and reminding me of a soap opera so I didn’t even finish this book.

I literally can not put these books away. I have became consumed with Pearl and Alexandre.. Just purchased the 3rd book, the first 2 have definitely kept me on my toes.. needing to know more...

The second in this 3 part book series. The characters still have many flaws and secrets are keeping everyone from moving forward.

I am so in love with Alexandre and Pearl. I can't wait to continue reading this story. I loved the Pearl series but this puts an entirely new spin on it. Alexandre is so in love with Pearl and now she realizes she made a big mistake trusting Laura. I am waiting with baited breath for #3. Excellent job Arianne!

This a beautiful love story of passion, desire, lust and wat more .........its just a perfect roller coaster ride............couldn't stay a minute frm finishing the book

Really felt the dilemma of the older women with the younger man, but it was dealt with brilliantly

Secondo romanzo della serie Hookep up mi ha colpito favorevolmente soprattutto nell'ultima parte. Avviso che ci sono molte scene erotiche, ma che allo stesso tempo la trama é avvincente.

If you have read any of Adrianne's books before this is the same story that is in the pearl trilogy that I had read there maybe a bit more in these and its still a good story just wish I had realised before buying
