When i first ordered i was a little cautious of the shipping arrangements. Everything was perfectly packed in foam. I purposely made sure I did not have it shipped in a bigger Amazon box, so that it would be more secure. Guess Amazon decided otherwise and im glad they did, as everything was intact. The dishes are excellent multi colored quality. Green is very hard to describe, the are a very shiny surface green but its more fadedly drab with grays and blues. I've own mine for about a month now and the quality or the finishes dont fade. The material is thick and doesnt feel cheap. worth the money to get a great looking set.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this gorgeous plate set! They are even better looking in person than the picture in the ad shows. You can fit a lot more food on the plates since they are square and they take up the same amount of room in a cabinet as round ones do. The bowls fit on the dinner plates so you can have soup and salad or a sandwich or chips and dip VERY easily. The little round sauce bowls work well with this set too on even the lunch plates. The coating is so well coated that cleanup is a breeze! They fit particularly well in the dishwasher. These are top quality. I'm so impressed. I bought more sets to have service for 12. They all fit in my cabinets very well. I chose these because of the gorgeous deep blue color which does not disappoint. By the way, I have Fibromyalgia and Carpal Tunnel and these are very easy to grip and wield. My tip: when putting a bowl on the plate, put a potholder or cloth under it to keep it from sliding and you are good to go. If any dishes break, which most did not, the seller is VERY easy to work with and more than willing to replace. What more could you ask for?

We absolutley love this dish set! After several months of use, the vibrant blue color and solid feel still makes a statement every time we use this for a casual dinner or a party with friends. The set is heavy and solid which we really like. The square shape suits our style for a bit of a more modern and clean look. Everything arrived well packaged and nothing was chipped or broken. This dinner set looks elegant and not cheap in any way. You should consider this as its a great value for what you get compared to other more expensive dinner sets out there. The glaze is even and professional. They came out of several dishwashings looking as good as new.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We have purchased 5 boxes of these. We stored them until now and when we opened them, 2 sets were broken. I do not know how as they are packaged REALLY well. I ordered one more set and it came broken as well. Again, packed well and the boxes are not damaged so something had to have happened when they were packaged. The stoneware is beautiful and we do love what we have let but they are really expensive to keep wasting the money to buy them to come damaged. Originally I marked this as one star due to the breakage, HOWEVER, the seller sent a new box of these beautiful plates/bowls without even asking them to do so. The company is 6 star review and the product at least 10! Absolutely beautiful sets!

These plates are beautiful, and heavy duty. Easy to clean and are dishwasher safe. I love all the different products this brand has for all types of use. These were definitely worth the money.

12 of the pieces match very closely, but the smaller plates do not appear to be quite the same pattern. They do appear to be the same glaze, but perhaps glazed by a different process or person or heated differently? In any event they are very pretty and I'm excited to use for our daily meals.

Don't be scared to purchase! All 32 pieces arrived in pristine and perfect condition. They are beautiful, unique and functional... who needs MORE coffee cups- NOT ME. I've used Gibson Square red soho dishes for 20 years. Stoneware chips, break and scratches- duh. They are precious because they are not made out of plastic. I was forced to buy whole dinner sets to get more salad plates, hence the 20 extra coffee cups donated to our local thrift store. You won't be disappointed. These are quality!

I have ordered this set three times and three times it was broken. The manufacturer puts all the padding on top but almost no padding on the bottom, so the small bowls on the bottom always break. Then Amazon packs this small box in a much larger box with no padding at all. See other reviews reporting the exact same thing. The original box says fragile but the Amazon box does not. Your chances of getting an unbroken set are practically none. Also they are much darker than pictured. If you want to see the grey color in the pictures, you would have to have glaringly bright light. In average light they look nearly black. Bought a set lusted as used like new from A resale. I got four broken bowls and three irregular (spotted) plates. They are hefty and fragile. Awful lot of money for big disappointment. And they will not replace broken pieces when you buy them as a resale. So I bought another set as new. This time one bowl arrived broken. Vendor sent a replacement that looked nothing like all the others. I ordered a replacement and two bowls broken. I n order to get a complete unbroken set, I would have to buy another whole set, hope that's not broken, then have to deal with returning this very heavy box. So proceed with caution. As other reviews state, they are more likely to arrive broken, and are likely to break later under normal use. Do yourself a favor, buy something else

Super verpackt das Geschirr, die Farbe ist mega schön, natürlich gibt es mal eine kleine Farb Abweichung, das liegt bei mir aber nur daran das ich 5 mal das Geschirr bestellt habe und es sein kann das es verschiedene Schargen sind. Findes es sehr schade das dass Geschirr nur für 4 Personen ausgelegt ist, deshalb einen Punkt Abzug. Und die tiefen Teller sind wegen ihrer Form schwierig in die Spülmaschine einzuräumen und die großen Flachen Teller sind wirklich groß 😊 für mich positiv. Die Schüssel für Salat, Müsli usw sind groß genug auch für Suppe und Eintopf. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Geschirr 😍😍

Looks exactly like the picture. Quality is good and package has arrived in excellent condition, although there was some damage to the packaging, all plates were not damaged.

Absolutely gorgeous dinner service set!!!! I had hummed & harred over ording one after reading the reviews of receiving the set with broken plates etc. I ordered and just WOW!!! The box was ultra thick to protect the contents, on opening. Think polystyrene to protect all items from moving around and also against any knocks during transit. I was so impressed with how every single dish & plate was individually packed and secured. Doubled up thick foam between every single item to further protect them, which was kept inplace with a wide plastic wrapping band. Not one item was damaged!! The set is absolutely gorgeous 😍 I also love how the green border which is on the plates, is around the outside of the cereal bowls. This dinner service set looks and feels very expensive, especially for the money I paid for it, most definitely landed myself a bargain. *Ultra secure packaging. *Beautiful mixture of blues, greens & brown colours which are very different and also makes the set really standout from the norm. *Excellent quality.
