Compact and very easy to use
I really like this multi meter auto range works well if I was to criticise some small points it would be test leads could be a bit more flexible and viewing angle of display could be better but otherwise excellent little meter

Compact and easy to use
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a compact easy to read multimeter that I could just keep about the house. Something that anyone could use within reason. This Neoteck FS899C caught my eye with its large easy to read display and auto ranging. So I went ahead and ordered it.The meter ships in a black and white illustrated box. Inside everything is set out quite nicely with additional card packing. Inside you have the meter, probes, crocodile clips to add to the probes and a micro USB cable for charging. The meter itself is actually quite compact. Smaller than a typical smartphone if a bit thicker. The plastics used in construction feel a bit cheap. It would have been nice if they are used some softer rubberised materials. Particularly in the more vulnerable areas. The leads and probes are fine. Not as good as some but sufficient. The inclusion of a rechargeable battery, while not removable, is a nice touch.Powering the meter on is easy. Just hold down the power button on the side and it powers up. It defaults to full auto. You can select measurements by pressing the power button again to cycle through. Auto ranging works well for the most part and has no issues with fairly simple tasks. The NCV function is useful and appears to work well enough from limited testing. The relatively large is easy to read especially with the toggleable backlight. Though it does have some issues with viewing angles. The built in torch feels a bit "weak" and I am not sure its inclusion really adds anything. If it was a bit more powerful it would be useful. 6000 counts should be plenty for most applications. In terms of accuracy it was very close to my other meters. With any differences being insignificant.A nice little meter that can fit in a pocket. It's easy to use and the rechargeable battery is convenient. The only things that let it down are the viewing angles and some of the materials used.

Battery doa
The media could not be loaded. The unit seems nice and compact, unfortunately the lithium battery is 100% dead in the one I received, so back it goes, it does work when plugged into a power source so I'll review my review in a few days I guess.*Update* returned the faulty unit and ordered a new one, the new one works perfectly.

This unit is awful. DO NOT BUY IT
The media could not be loaded. This has been used three times in a week, then the last time it kept making a clicking sound which is the relay inside, the after the clicking had stopped I was left with a frozen screen for around seven hours until the battery went flat, I then started to charge it and straight away and powered up and then started clicking again, and as you can see from the video that is how it stays.

Probe broken after v light use, no manual settings
Probe came apart after very careful use over a few days. Other issues are that there are no manual settings, it's automatic only. It beeps a lot and loudly, no settings to turn down or off. It seems like a functional meter otherwise. I'm going to keep it and repair the probe rather than send it back, as it'll just end up in landfill otherwise, but I'm disappointed with the features and quality for the price paid. If anyone else has the same issue with the probe, the tip comes off with pliers and you can re-solder the cable. Not ideal but saves time / energy / e-waste.

Great Multimeter
Smashing. Replaced a standard style unit I had had for about 5yrs that broke. It’s totally auto function works well and it’s rechargeable capability is a winner. Excellent. Just put a protective glass cover on it.
