Big enough to house at least 5 or 6 regular garlic bulbs. Looks ok on the worktop. Has holes to aerate.

Very classy lovely tactile pottery with beautiful shade of real wood lid I have just learned that garlic needs cool dark ventilated - not the fridge !!

This item is much larger than advertised. When I purchased this, the dimensions listed on the product page gave the width as 2.83". The item I received had an actual width of 4.25", which was much too large for my intended use. Also, the lid was not centered on the opening. It's an attractive piece of ceramic, with a sloppily-produced lid and incorrect product dimensions in the product listing.
