The colors are fixed. The top rows are yellow and the rest white. You can put whatever text you want at the top but if the font is too big the colors will be split.

Is this compatible with arduino uno wifi rev.2?

Yes, upgrade past arduino 1.89 to version2.0 or above.

Has anyone got this to work with esphome? if so, which platform and model did you use? when i try it, it knocks off the wi-fi connection.
