Vacuum Handle Pool, Chrome Plated Swivel

Having had several plastic handles wear out and break, I looked for something better. This item is it. Not only is it durable metal, but the swivel function is a definite advantage in driving the vacuum head around the bottom and sides of the pool. As well, the plastic versions had a spring which tended to lift the vacuum head off the surface. I have not figured out what if any benefit that spring had, but with this handle the vacuum head stays flat against the surface.Now, why is it that the big pool supply companies do not offer this item and it had to be found at a specialty company?

I had previously used plastic handles for my vacuum head, but they were flimsy and broke off after a short time of use. This pool vacuum handle is made of heavy duty chrome plated material and I believe it is just what I need. Cost is a little more but it seems well worth the extra cost. I would buy it again if I didn't have this one.

I was skeptical that this item would meet up to its description seeing as it is half the price of other metal swivel handles but the item is excellent. Chrome plated metal handle with swivel tip and stainless steal bolt with locking nut. I am a pool professional in Florida and I will be buying more of these when they get some in stock.... They will still be working long after me!

This is a solid metal handle for pool vacs, the only thing is the bolt wasn't long enough for my use so another 73 cents later had it all ready to go! Super fast shipping too, was here almost 5 days before estimated beginning date! Thanks

The handle was just what we needed to repair our pool vacuum. It appears to work better than the original plastic handle. The product was as described, and we only had to purchase a stainless steel bolt to install it. I would recommend this product to a friend.

much more durable than the plastic handles that break very easily....this is a no-brainer to have. They should have metal handles on all vacuum heads and just have the customer pay a little more. just the weight alone of the head will snap the plastic pieces.

Does what it is designed to do. Excellent quality. I got tired of replacing the cheap plastic one every year or two.
