Takes a little patience and understanding, but wonderful. At first it seems anti-helpful. Since it attracts fruit flies to be trapped, for a while you will see MORE fruit flies. I'd say essentially no flies after maybe three days, or just an occasional fly. Take the top off and look inside, you see nothing, but look inside with a FLASHLIGHT and you see thousands of dead ones on the bottom. My guess is that it takes a few days to fully interrupt the fly breeding cycle.

These little jars work wonders. Last a long time. Definitely catch the insect. I have them near sink and they dont move.

These are AMAZING! They seemed pricey but once I used them it was clear that they are worth every penny. We live by an orchard so the fruit flies can be obnoxious but these totally eradicated them from our home in just a few short days. I’ll definitely purchase again.

A pain to assemble for use, and pretty useless to boot. I had my fruit fly population pretty much under control using a small dish partially filled with cider vinegar, a bit of dish soap, and a spec of sweet fruit. But, we were having weekend guests and I was worried someone might accidentally spill it. So, I bought this product. While the flies were attracted to the scent, only one actually took the plunge after five days of use. I finally took the cover off altogether. Again, crawling around the edge of the dish but not actually going into it. My fruit fly population has increased, and I'm worse off than I was before. I'll try it for a few more days before I toss it and go back to my old creation.
