Hard disk failed during CCTV use and recording stopped working. Please arrange a replacement as the product is defective.

I purchased the DVR with high hopes, but unfortunately, after just over a year of use, I encountered significant issues. The DVR failed to store data properly, prompting me to seek assistance from customer service. To my dismay, I discovered that the hard disk's manufacturing date was in 2011, and it was no longer supported due to its age. Since the warranty had expired, I was left with no recourse for repairs or replacements. This situation necessitates purchasing an entirely new DVR and hard disk, as both components are now dysfunctional. I regret that the product's lifespan fell short of expectations, and the lack of support post-warranty has compounded the issue. Moving forward, I would caution potential buyers to verify the manufacturing dates of crucial components like hard disks to avoid similar disappointments.

Have purchased a Hikvision set on 17/02/2023, the hard disk was creating hassle post some time it stopped working completely when we took it out to send for warranty process it was a shock to see that the warranty was expired in 2016.. can u imagine how old this machinery was.
