4 Pack Chunky Lift-a-Flap Board Books: First Words/Animals/Opposites/Things That Go (Babies Love) Board book – March 15, 2017

Our little one is really rough on books but these held up very well to destructo baby. The illustrations are cute and I can see them growing with her for a while.

The price for buying this as a set vs individually is great. I’ll be completely honest and say the main factor that drew me to these books is that the dogs are dachshunds and we’re a dachshund family. It’ll be fun seeing her recognize the long dogs as our dogs. . Or it won’t make a difference to her. . Either way it brings us joy. The flaps are super heavy duty which we also appreciate.The thing that throws me with these books is that the matches are extremely unconventional. This is both good and bad. It’s nice to read something and it be a different match vs what’s typically done. But some just threw us for a loop. Like baby loves baby. On one hand I like it, on the other everyone who has read the books to her always pause at that one and go “oh. . Ok”. We’d still buy them again, but a little word to the wise.

My 9 month old LOVES flap books and most of the books have very flimsy flaps so I have to watch her so she doesn’t accidentally rip them off. So, the thing I like most is the flaps are thick! Not as easily torn or ripped off as most flap books. They have cute, simple illustrations and we really enjoy them!

These books have been favorites of my daughter. We love that they're thicker pages and flaps so that she has an easier time opening everything and a tough time ripping them. The cartoons are fun colors, but I do think actual pictures would be easier to process and understand. Also, if you're looking for reading material, these books have no real story and minimal words. I can read them to my daughter, but often try to ask questions about the pictures and find other things to talk about on the pages so that there's enough "content". Still, these are just fun baby books and my daughter enjoys them every time.

My son adores these books. Pages are colorful, use great learning words and the flaps are thick enough for toddler fingers... we often have a problem with him not knowing his own strength and pulling the flaps off, but not with these books!

Very strong and durable, wish pictures were a little bigger and had more contrast for babies distinguish as some blend in to background shade instead of standing out

These are cute. I like all except the opposites book. Most of the examples of opposites used are not familiar to a young child, but maybe for 3 years and up.

We bought these when my daughter was just over a year so they felt a little too simple. They didn't seem to hold her attention as much as others from this flap book publisher. They do specify they are for 0+mo.
