Not 22mm
I really like the build quality of these. The body and nut are metal. The dust cap is nice, though doesn't look like it's waterproof, but that's fine if it's going indoors. The big issues is the drawing in the pictures shows it to be 22mm, but it's actually more like 24mm. The unthreaded part of the body is 22mm, but the threaded part is a little larger and will not fit into a 22mm hole. I guess I'll get the step-bit back out and make a bigger hole.

Not as durable or reliable
I purchased these in a pack of five. After a couple weeks of use, two of them would not display a signal to my preview monitor. When tested again, one of the initial two that wasn't working, displayed a video signal again. I decided to buy another brand that cost a little more and the quality between the two brands are noticeable. The more expensive converters are much more snug when attaching hdmi cables. I decided to replace all five on the panel to be on the safe side.

Needs Mounting Hole Template
This double-female panel-mount HDMI socket works like it's supposed to โ although HDMI plugs don't plug into it as easily as I'd like. A little tight, but perhaps with use will loosen up. But it would be REALLY, REALLY helpful if the product would have come with some sort of template for the panel hole they mount in.

I needed something to connect my camera to my computer through a hard shell case. Following installation instructions and using the right drill bit, this was a perfect fit. The connection is solid to my computer, and these look better than most options on the market. The price is affordable to replace it if I need to with wear and tear. When using the right drill bit, this attaches so strongly that these are not moving in and out. I believe I used a 23mm bit, but check the instructions.

My first order came without spikey washers and rubber end caps. Second one did. Be aware some may be missing parts.
