The material is nice but the design with the straps digging in makes it impossible to wear with the straps on.

my original compression garment gave me a terrible case of hives, which made recovering from surgery even more unbearable. I bought this one as a replacement since it has a more hypoallergenic lining, and it was an instant relief!!

A friend recommended this style as she had worn this one after tummy tuck surgery. I had a similar surgery, but not the same one. I found it very uncomfortable as the hook and eye rested right on my incision and abs I had had repaired. I preferred the garment from the same brand that was hook and eye with zippers on the legs and flat on my stomach.

I'm 2 weeks post abdominal lipo and was ecstatic to receive this item. I immediately tried it on upon receiving it... BUMMER. The torso is short and the straps are WAY too short. I don't know who could wear the top half of this. I ordered a L and I'm 5'9". As another reviewer mentioned, wearing tank tops/sleeveless shirts are impossible due to the way these straps are set and that is a deal breaker for me. I also didn't think the back was as "full" as other shapers I've worn. I would have liked it to be wider across the back area. About the only thing that did work was the hook & eye closures - I loved the compression, but I didn't care for the open crotch area (it wouldn't have been a deal breaker either way). It did go all the way to the knee but it's my own fault I have fat legs so that didn't work out for me either - it was visible under skinny jeans. I guess if you are super skinny and of average height, this'll work for you.
