Although the thickness of the ribbon seems more rigid compared to the original ribbon that came with the Raspberry pi 2 camera. It works like a charm. having the extra length means the pi can live in a useful location without getting in the way.and I have a spare in case of accidents.

Works great so far. Replaced the shorter one I was using for a camera on my 3d printer. That one kept getting pulled out of my rpi when the carriage would go all the way up and I'd move the bed to the front, which ripped some of the pads off. Now I got like 2 feet of extra cable so it shouldn't rip out anymore and I got a spare if anything does happen to it.

Cable is much higher quality than the one that came with my Raspberry pi camera. However some things to note, this cable is much more rigid, think thin piece of metal rigid, unlike the original pi ribbon which was more a thin plastic. This is great for durability, but it does come at a cost of flexibility, as the two cables are coiled tightly in packaging so when they come out they tend to want to stay coiled. Otherwise works well, the image quality is good, just annoyingly keeps wanting to stay coiled.

I didn't really need a long cable but it was a good deal so I bought them. Turns out I took advantage of the length and I was able to mount the RPI in a more convenient location and have extra room to route and hide the cable. Was concerned with the length and possible interference but it works 100% with RPI cameras.

I have a pi set up as my mounted remote video system for 3dprinting. These cables are extremely long. Nothing zip ties can't fix of course. That said, they are thick cables, well built, and I am happy with them. That's the bottom line I suppose ;)

works as described. no complaints whatsoever. I would advise anyone purchasing to really consider what length you need tho. It is not as pliant or flexible a lot of cables. It's a flat ribbon cable. It does reduce usefulness and if you buy a cable considerably longer than what you need, you are going to regret the difficulty of having a clean organized work station.
