Nflightcam Strut Clamp Mount

The clamp is of fantastic quality, but for me there was one glaring drawback considering the price. The "Surface Spud" (conveniently sold separately for $19.99) which the Ball Head Mount clamps on to is semi-permanently fused to the clamp. I see this as unnecessary since it is already attached to the clamp with a bolt which could be secured with Locktite, but would also allow it to be used separately if detached. However, they have chosen to fuse it to the clamp surface with some sort of strong adhesive or Locktite making removal very difficult. I bought this at this price BECAUSE of its versatility of multiple mounting options, but instead the versatility was intentionally prohibited by the manufacturer to promote individual separate sale of the Ball head mounts or "Surface Spuds" which I see as a little greedy since you are already getting them with this product, but they intentionally make it near impossible to detach and use them except with the strut clamp.

Solid product. I mounted it on my Cessna 182 (Skylane) and got great videos. The mounting is pretty easy, the needed tool is included (I had to use some zip ties for securing the belt). It stayed on the wing strut pretty solid and worked exactly as expected!

It’s all I hoped it would be. Fits the Cessna and the AirCam equally well.

Very easy to mount, secure and adjust. Easy on and off allowing use on different aircraft or mounting locations. Excellent construction.

Mounted a Gopro 7 on both undercarriage legs of a Magni M16 Gyrocopter - very stable.

Does not hold the camera properly in place!! At 90 knots camera tilts and you just end up filming the sky.

The media could not be loaded.  This Strut Mount is great! Very well made and easy to use. The ball mount feature allows me to capture video at multiple angles.
