Mary Had a Little Glam

This is a wonderful picture book! It is cleverly written in a rhyming format that is pleasing to the ear. The vibrantly colored, detailed illustrations complete the story and bring it to perfection. The main character, Mary is button cute! The message told through the age-appropriate activities of the Mother Goose characters - who, by the way are diverse - is one that every child should hear: it's okay to glam it up and it's okay to tone it down when the occasion calls for it.

I purchased this book a few years ago for my Grandaughter and she loves it. My niece is having a baby shower where she requested books instead of cards, I knew this was the book she needed for her little girl. It is a very good way for a child of color to see herself in a positive and beautiful way. I recommend this book to all of the little divas in my life of all colors.

All around enjoyable book, fun story and fun pictures. I'm a grown-up and have thought about getting a copy for myself. :)

This book is full of cuteness and flair! Loved the ending as well. It’s also a great book for your child to read to you. Grades 1-3rd grade is what I suggest for reading on their own

WE LOVE THIS BOOK!! My 2 YO asks to read this book OFTEN! Which I'm not mad about because the pages are filled with fun. bright and beautiful illustrations. I love that it encourages little ones to be themselves but to also value less is sometimes more. I'm a sucker for rhyming books, so this was another reason to love reading it! Very glad I purchased this book and plan on buying more from this author!

I liked it a lot because the rhyme was good. It was nice they gave a little to everyone then let it all go. My kids like to see what would happen next.

This book is great! The story is fun and the illustrations are bright and eye catching with great attention to detail. I loved the curly pudding on her dressing table! I thought it might be too old for my 4 month old, but she was really engaged as I read and stared at the pictures. I'll be purchasing more copies to send to my other friends with little girls.

This book is a great alternative to the original Mary Had a Little Lamb nursery rhyme - its modern, easy to read and very comical. Children will love it and adults will love reading it to their children. I purchased the hardback version as it's more durable for younger children and is great for book readings. Great value for money

This book is just wonderful. My toddler loves this book it's beautifully illustrated and the rhyming story is a perfect twist on the original Nursery rhyme.
