Great Replacement
I wouldn't normally purchase an item without any reviews, but I didn't really have any other options but to try this out. I needed to repair my Dyson V10 Animal after I dropped it and broke the little clip that keeps the dust bin closed. Dyson offers a full dust bin replacement. That part is about $30 or $40, but at least at the time of this review it is on back order with no anticipated time for restock. My vacuum was broken, and couldn't wait. Dust bins on ebay were going for a minimum of $75. So while this item might seem a bit expensive, it was the best option. This piece was a perfect fit on my machine! After installing this, I'm not sure why Dyson doesn't offer dust bin lids as a replacement part. This item came with a QR code for an installation video, and it was quite simple to follow. The only tricky bit is prying off your original lid (don't damage your dust bin!) I don't know if my original lid was supposed to have an "inner gasket", but it did not have one. This replacement does, and it seems to work great. Both gaskets seem better than the original piece. I don't think I would "upgrade" to this item unless I had to, but it is nice. I don't have any scientific suction tests for you though. Not sure why they needed a logo on this, but whatever. You hardly see it once it's installed. Overall I'm super happy. My vacuum is back in operation. I'll be sure to update my review if anything goes wrong long term. Thanks!

純正のツメが割れて蓋が閉まらなくなったため交換品として購入。 ネットで取り替え方を調べて５分程で交換。 蓋のしまり具合は純正品と変わりません。 代替品としてお勧めできます。
