Better than gas, easy to use, compact storage!
Just used this edger for the 1st time and loving it! I demand a well edged lawn and used a gas unit that had continuous issues with a bad float / carburetor. I had to shell out $100s in repairs numerous times. I was done with that gas machine. So I bought the Crafstman edger. I have many other craftsman tools and am a huge fan of the brand and quality. Charged up the batteries after delivery, and went to town on sidewalks, landscaping bricks and lawn edging. I was amazed how powerful it was and so easy to use. The second battery is awesome if you have a lot of edging like me! Never worry about not completing the job. The bonus is the tiny amount of space it takes up in my garage. Tucks away easily into a corner. Love this machine! Nice work craftsman!

Has a sharp blade for cutting sidewalk grass
Cuts and shapes the curves and sidewalks with ease,edger seems to really tough

Nice unit, could last longer with one charge
Took a few trys to figure out how to use the egde trimmer without hitting the sidewalk, but i like it now. I am unable to edge trim my whole yard with one battery, but I have a few batteries, so not a big issue.

Good but better have extra batteries.
It's a really nice tool and does the job, but it eats batteries if the ground is hard or grass is thick. Just make sure you have more than one battery on hand.

Great tool.
Works great especially if you have the larger batteries. First time I used it it struggled a bit but that's because it was so overgrown. With routine use this thing just blasts down the driveway. A joy to use compared to tilting the weed trimmer on its side. Would recommend to anyone who has anything larger than 2 amp batteries.
