Pretty versatile
Funnily enough, I ordered this set because one of my metal straws went down the sink drain. At the time, I did not know that most metal straws are a type of steel that doesn't really have a magnetic charge. (The magnet didn't work at all for the straw, but I did end up fishing it out with a wire coat hanger I bent into shape.) But now I'm finding all these other uses for the telescope magnet. I craft a lot and am finding it's strong enough to pick up a variety of tools - needles, steel clippers, seam rippers, even a pair of pliers. It was not strong enough to pick up my sewing shears (which are high quality solid steel), but they ALMOST do. I bet one with stronger pull (say 3~5lbs) would have been able to do it. Also: these are great for those who can't reach the ground easily to pick up dropped car keys and other light metal objects. (I tested our keys, it worked great!) I'm thinking those with back or joints issues, those recovering from surgery, those with mobility challenges, etc. would be them quite useful.

Works for retrieving ๐ฉ nuts
It helped my husband get a nut out of a very narrow part of the car engine and the car wouldnโt have run with the nut stick in there. We appreciated the low price and got two tools that work.

good magnet on the end
Only used the longer handle flex and it worked great in my drain pipe. The magnet was strong enough to fish out a fallen bolt and washer.

Has helped me grab dropped items many times
Super handy; has helped me retrieve dropped fasteners and bits and bobs several times now from all kinds of annoying locations.

Well worth the piece of mind
I dropped a screw into the rear engine bay while changing the spark plugs on my Mazda CX-5. I didn't really see where it fell, and even drop 30+ miles since it happened. I fished it out on about the 5th attempt, blind, just dumb luck. But very happy with this item, obviously.

Flexible magnet only
This only comes with the flexible magnet, donโt be surprised when that is all you get, even though the picture shows 2 items donโt be deceived, false advertising .
