Anker soundcore 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker, 24-Hour Playtime, IPX7

For a small, portable speaker, it packs some pretty good sound. Punches above its class quite well. It obviously does not compare to more beefy systems, but for its consistent price over the years and its simple setup and usage, it absolutely is worth the money. I have purchased two of these over the years - one in 2018, and again in 2025. I'm pleasantly surprised to see the newly purchased one adopted a USB-C port for charging, despite the model inherently listing micro USB which my original purchase has. Everything still holds up and it is great for smaller environment usage. Easy to connect, has 3.5mm input for speaker usage, usage time is accurate. My only complaint is the power on/off and BT sounds play at incredibly loud volume, regardless of what level the speaker is set to.

I got this for a hospitalized friend who wanted to listen to his music rather than watch what passes for entertainment on daytime TV during his months long stay in the hospital. It had good ratings and a reasonable price so I chose it for him. My friend and I were both very pleasantly surprised at the how good it sounded, how loud it could get without being distorted and how easy it is to use. It paired with his Android phone very quickly and easily and ran for hours and hours before needing a charge. Now that he is home, he uses this outside and is very pleased with the amount of sound it puts out, even in wide open spaces. All in all it's a great package; it produces sound at a quality and volume much more than it's size would suggest, runs for hours before needing a charge and seems quite sturdy. IMO; five stars.

Super small with a lot of sound, looks very nice and blends in well on my desk. It’s great in a small space like my office, which is where I wanted it so that’s perfect. However, it’s so cute and sounded so good in my office, I wanted to use it more so brought it to the kitchen with me to enjoy while making dinner. The sound is not great once in the larger space. Completely fair and reasonable for the size and price. Just be aware for your intended use. In a room like a bedroom, office or other smallish space, I think it’s fantastic actually: lots of sound for the size and price. Don’t expect this to be able to sound good in a larger space such as a great room or other expansive area. It becomes muffled sounding. Not a criticism, especially at this price, just awareness. The close up photo with ruler distorted the speaker cover, included so you can see it’s only 6.5” long. Really compact!!

for the price the speaker is good. I read the negative reviews and was a bit suspicious but I got it for $28 on prime days. It’s good for the size, nothing crazy volume wise but a little more than you’d expect for a speaker in this price range, bass is good. Don’t expect it to be insanely loud but it can get up there. Perfect for my apartment, I haven’t even used it at full volume and I’m overall satisfied. I’d definitely recommend waiting for a sale to role around though. Decent charge as well, only had to charge it once after using it on and off for a week. Easy to transport and perfect to take into the bathroom for a shower or to the beach.

Excellent little speaker—compact, easy to set up, and surprisingly powerful. Sound is clear and full, and it paired flawlessly with my 20-year-old TV through an Amazon Fire Stick. The large top-mounted controls are easy to use by feel, and the speaker automatically reconnects when powered on. Battery life is excellent, with a reasonable recharge time. Great performance, thoughtful design, and impressive value. Anker delivers again.

I bought this Anker Soundcore 2 in December 2021, and it still lives in my golf bag. I use it when I play, and I’m still using it today — nearly five years on. For a portable Bluetooth speaker, that long stretch of real-world abuse is the useful part of the story. Battery is the standout. It holds a charge really well — “lasts forever” in practical terms. I can go about two months without playing and still expect juice when I pull it out. I’d even be confident leaving it six months and coming back to find it held a charge. Water resistance matters for golf-bag life too, and that’s been fine. The listing pitches IPX7 waterproofing, long playtime, and a compact grab-and-go design. For how I use it, the standby battery and toughness matter more than lab playtime numbers. It’s also very good value, and it’s turned into brand loyalty: I’ve bought four Anker/Soundcore speaker products now, and they’ve all been fantastic. Five stars for the long-term reliability, the golf-bag battery behavior, and the fact that I’m still happily using this one.

We absolutely love this Soundcore speaker! The color is great, it looks nice sitting out, and most importantly, it has really good sound. It was super easy to connect to our phones and Apple TV, and switching between devices has been simple. We also really appreciate the impact protection because, as it turns out, a toddler occasionally wants to participate in the speaker-handling department. 😂 So far, it has held up great. It’s easy to charge, easy to use, easy to connect, and the sound quality is excellent for the price. Overall, great sound, great price, great design, and very user-friendly. We’re really happy with it!

It so tiny (a little larger than a toothpaste box) that I was skeptical, but for $30 gave it a try as it had great reviews. The Bluetooth connects instantly, it charges quickly and I’ve yet to run it out of juice. I don’t depend on it for high-fi audio, mostly podcasts but it’s got head room enough that music sounds crisp and clear with surprising thump - again it’s tiny (but mighty). Buy it, you won’t be disappointed. Only con - no power wart but luckily I had one from another gadget that works perfectly. That is all!
