Superb
This is my first battery operated blower, which I avoided for years because of reviews saying they were under-powered and/or had super short run times. I'm here to tell you that this has neither of the problems, at least for my uses. This blower has been nothing short of superb so far.I bought my first blower about 17 years ago when I bought my house here in Tucson. I have a rock yard with mesquite trees and other bushes, and the rocks/driveway/sidewalk get absolutely covered in pollen (happening right now) and small leaves at times in the year. A lawn vac does a better job of cleaning and I went that route for years, but I get totally covered in dirt when using a vac, and they are harder to lug around. A blower does a decent job while leaving me relatively clean.I hate gas blowers (get to listen to the pros use them at neighbors homes and hate the loud noise and smell) and have been using corded blowers, mostly from Black and Decker. However, it takes me a good five minutes or more just to get the cords out and plugged in to get ready to start, and then the cords sometimes get in the way and usually make me backtrack around bushes.Enter this superb blower. Wow. Just wow. It's significantly quieter than my corded blowers, and compared to gas - forget about it. This thing is quieter as I'm holding it than the gas blower the landscaper uses when he's half a block away. In fact, I was so excited when it first showed up on a Sunday afternoon that I immediately unpacked it (which took all of about a minute because there's only two pieces) and started using it with the 80V battery that I already had, and it didn't occur to me until later in the day that I hadn't put in my earplugs. It's not _silent_, for sure, but it's a heck of lot quieter than I'm used to.Performance is plenty good for me. It has three main settings (low, medium, high), and then you can further tailor the air flow by how much you depress the trigger. I'm lazy and just pull the trigger all of the way back. On low, it makes quick work of pollen and tree litter on concrete such as my driveway and sidewalk - soooo much faster and easier than sweeping like I've done for years, and quiet enough that I can do it before I leave for work and not be "that guy" who wakes up the neighborhood. On medium, it works great blowing off the rocks in my main yard. It's so powerful on medium that (like my other blowers) I need to be careful not to blow the rocks around. On high...well, I hardly ever go there because it's so strong, but I think that you'll be pleased. I was pretty stunned at the air flow on high, and it forced my arm back the first time because I wasn't ready for it.Run times are very impressive using my 2A battery. I haven't actually timed myself, but I've blown off my yard twice on weekends so far and blown off my concrete daily. I always try to keep my blowing under an hour on weekends because, again, I don't want to be "that" guy. I probably used it for about twenty minutes at a time switching between medium and low, and my battery still lit up two out of the three indicator lights. I certainly might have used it longer, but I'm trying not to exaggerate. The ease of use is simply amazing compared to my corded models. Before work, I can just grab it, push the on button, walk out to spend about a minute blowing off the driveway and sidewalk, turn it off, and set it back down in my garage. Done. The fact that it's faster to use this than to grab my broom is fantastic to me.This is my fifth GreenWorks product (and I'm overall pretty happy with them), and I already had a 40V and 80V batteries and chargers, so this was a good deal for me because I didn't have to pay for the battery and charger. I almost bought the one with the battery anyway because I thought that I'd need more run time and would want a spare battery, but I haven't come close to needing another one.If you already have one of their 80V batteries, even the 2A one, I suggest getting this and not another battery to start to check if you'd want any more run time than you already get. Plus, if you already have one of those batteries, you know that they charge up pretty fast.Overall, I highly (HIGHLY) recommend this blower. One of my best lawn care purchases ever.

ONE BAD ASS HAIR DRYER :) A MUST HAVE for the guy who likes to have the coolest and best of Everything
I was looking over and searching through reviews and such trying to find the Absolute best "Blower" available. After reading about Samantha and Janet who work as a team at the local Massage parlor which by the way had some really GOOD reviews, I then changed my "Search" to look for the Best "LEAF Blower" and came across this Greenworks. It took a bit of time to order because I wanted to make sure I got the right model. Make sure when you order that you get the Blower, the Battery, and the charger as they are normally listed and sold separately. Don't let the price of it all together steer you away and towards purchasing something far inferior and not worth your hard earned cash. Buy Right and Buy once is my Motto. After all my research, it seemed that this was the bad boy to have (Make sure you get the 80 volt and not the older less powerful older model). I hit the add to cart and purchased from a vendor that was "Prime' eligible and hit place order. 2 days later a box of goodies was at my doorstep. Thankfully the battery came with a little charge because I couldn't wait to blow this right up my wife skirt which was pretty funny hahahaha. After chasing the wife and 1 year old around the house for a bit. I went ahead and put it on the charger for a good first FULL charge. Once it was fully charged, Grabbed the blower and began to have some fun. Gosh damn this thing is so AWESOME. I originally got it to blow out the garage as I have those Rubber snap together tiles in there and the dirt, leaves and debris is a bitch to try and sweep out. This blower gets ALL the Dirt and Dust out so quickly. Just park the cars off to the side of the house or you WILL Blow everything strait from the garage and right into the cars with their windows down if they are left parked right in front of the garage (Lesson learned) LOL. Blowing off the driveway is extremely easy, I will Never need a broom for that task anymore. Whats really cool and kind of funny is rather than using a rake to rake leaves, I simply use this blower to blow all the leaves from my lawn and onto the street curb edge every Tuesday eve because the Street sweeper picks it all up for me Wed morning ROFL. I was able to blow out the garage, the driveway and the lawn, the side walkways of the house, blew off all cabinets in the garage, outside patio and Bar B Q area, worked great on blowing off the AC unit outside, had to blow all the dirt and dust off that I originally blew onto the cars when blowing out the garage and learning that first lesson, Also blew off all the water that was still on back patio from spraying it down. In Laws were visiting so I used it to blow up a queen size air mattress in less than 9 seconds :) and lastly even blew dry the dog after he jumped in the pool. That alone was really entertaining. The blower was on MAX speed this whole time, when I was finished with the first round of maximum air blasting, I was impressed to see that I still had plenty of battery left after all the use. If I were to turn the power down and use a lower setting, I could see how this would last a really long time. I just don't see using less power as being as much fun. When I was originally placing the order, I was considering purchasing a second battery with the unit, but after using it, I can tell I will not really need a second battery. Worse case scenario is that if I run out of battery power, I can take a 10-15 min break and have a cold beer while the battery charges back up. This totally blows away corded and gas blowers. I was never a fan of Manly gas powered tools going electric, but now this blower has me looking for some more cool electric tools. But its gonna have to be some big 80+ volts to get my attention. The power, light weight, Fume free, and cordless features make this tool an absolute must have for every mans garage. With out the fumes and cords, this makes it very easy to use in the garage without choking on fumes or leaving behind the fresh smell of carbon dioxide everywhere. This blower works PERFECT for air drying the SCUDERIA after a nice hand wash. The blower actually dried off the car better than when I drive it at 160 MPH to air dry it. Not as much fun though, however its much safer :) The Blower also works great to blow the kids off after they get out of the pool and before they come back inside the house. Its really funny when they open there mouth and their cheeks get blasted with tornado forces of wind ROFL This blower truly does save you Time, Energy, and money. This is my first review EVER and very well deserved. Who would of thought one can have so much fun with a tricked out hair dryer. Two thumbs up for the GREENWORKS 80 VOLT Blower. Looking forward to your next models and high voltage man toys.
