Step Up Converter,MICGOGO USB DC 5V to 9V Step-Up Power Transformer Cable with Barrel Jack Booster Module (5V-9V)

This Step up converter is awesome. So is the help team for quickly answering all of my questions. I have been using this device to light up small incandescent bulbs. First bulb is a 12v 5w. Measured the heat range with a infrared thermometer. Readings on the unit were 105-115 degrees Fahrenheit or 40-45 Celsius. Second bulb is 13.5v 7.3w. Unit measured 50-55 Celsius. According to the manufacturers the max heat range can not be more the 60 Celsius/140 Fahrenheit. Currently my experiment is going good and running these lights for 8 hours a day. Will update to see how long the unit will last in these conditions. NOTE: I am not a scientist or researcher. This is for my own personal project. So far, I am very pleased with the performance.

This 5v step up to 12v is very useful . This is useful because when I need to test something that needs 12v , this is small and handy to have around. Although this is advertising , please do not power anything for the long term because this is low amperage . One thing I dislike about this step up , is that this does get very hot over time. Overall ,this is an okay item for testing purposes

Great value for the money. I bought this to set up a few wireless sender/receivers and camera in my RV. There are USB outlets all over, so this is easier than finding 12v power and splicing in. I was able to power my wireless video receiver and WiFi sender, or a camera and WiFi sender with one of these, so it works great. It does not get hot, and the standard barrel connector plugged right into all of the backup camera stuff I am testing.

Sorry to say that this item just did not work at all! I plugged it in to a 5v usb port (known good port) and in to a 12v low amp/watt device and it did nothing. I have not requested a return because I was curious as to just how many volts output the device was providing so I cut the connector off and hooked up to a voltage meter; output was zero! Would definitely not buy again and suggest others find a different manufacturer.

This is quite a bit longer than I had anticipated but I guess that is on me for not reading the description close enough. Other than that I have no complaints! Works perfectly!

This worked very well and come with two additional size adapters so that you have a choice of three barrel sizes for the connector. Looks well made. I can't fault it.

it works but it gets a little hot and drains the battery quickly (not power efficient)

Pretty cool though i tried it on a baby swing and it burnt the board and killed the swing.JUNK
