These are great!I used to use the grill gloves that got so dirty and gross to even wear. These plastic/ silicone gloves are much more durable, heat resistant and most important... sanitary and cleanable. Shredded beef used to be so difficult with forks, i now go Freddy Kruger style and run a huge batch in no time!! the Matt is an added benefit that I didn't even notice at time of purchase.my last grilling session was amazing, did some pulled beef sandwiches with a sunny side up on top, and it was all done on the grill!!enjoy

Tried the gloves last night for the first time on the handle of a cast iron skillet. The heat came through between my thumb and finger. My regular oven mitts protected better. It is a BBQ set, so I'm sure I'll use them outside and not have to worry about my mitts catching fire. But the heat factor is still a concern. I love the silicone BBQ brush. Easy to clean as opposed to bristle brushes. Haven't used the meat shredder or mat yet. Don't know how to get the ecookbook.

I was invited to a house warming of a friend from work.I don't know much about his personal life, so I was looking for something that every guy will enjoy.Grilling!I have to admit it, there is something about large chunk of meat sizzling on the grill, dripping blood that makes me happy.Maybe its the caveman in all of us.I found this kit, not too expensive to blow my budget, not too cheap to embarrass me or my friend.I hope he'll like it.

This is the perfect grill set for our family grilling needs.I bought this for my husband for 4th of July, and boy was he thrilled!!We tried it while barbecuing with friends in our backyard, and even got some compliments on the set, and of course, on the meet as well...The silicone spread is perfect for vegetables and other small things (we roasted almonds on it), so it's a very nice added bonus.

This is a great set for BBQ and Stovetop useI just love the gloves, they give you great grip and use of your fingers.I was able to peel potato skins off of piping hot potatoes with ease (to get the perfect mash potatoes).Used the brush for BBQ wings and the clause to pull a chicken apart!enjoy
