Wonderful Starter Kit
Just got into leatherworking as a hobby to make EDC leather pouches for my multitools, scissors, devices, etc. I have managed to make everything with ease thanks to this kit. While I am 100% sure you can get better tools out there, this is perfect for finding out what tools you need and how NOT to damage them. It's a cheap kit, so you know you can make mistakes and I indeed have. Despite the price, it is well-made. All the tools work great, I've had little to no issues (any problems can be pointed towards user-error for sure).I also have so much thread I am not sure how I will use it all, I am happy.

Good
I recently purchased the leather working toolkit for beginners and I have been very impressed with its quality and functionality. The kit comes with all the essential tools needed for a beginner to get started in leather crafting. The tools are made of high-quality materials and have a nice weight and feel to them. They are also easy to use and have held up well through multiple projects. The kit includes a variety of tools, such as a leather needle, waxed thread, a leather punch, and a stitching awl, which has been incredibly useful in my projects. The included instructions are clear and concise, making it easy for a beginner like me to understand how to use each tool. One thing I appreciated about this kit was that it came in a nice, sturdy case that keeps all the tools organized and easily accessible. It also makes it easy to transport the kit if I need to work on a project on-the-go.Overall, I would highly recommend this leather working toolkit for beginners. It's a great value for the price and has all the essential tools needed to get started in leather crafting. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because I think it could benefit from a few more tools, but for the price point, it's a great starter kit.

This is a very complete beginner's kit at a very reasonable price.
The value for the price is a pleasant surprise. It has many of the tools needed to do a simple leather project. I'm a little disappointed that the parts diagram sheet does not have a descriptor explaining the use of the different tools. Overall, though, I believe I will be able to finish my project with these tools. The value for the price is a pleasant surprise.

Good value
I’m just beginning leather work again—last time was the ‘70s😁😁. I needed these for a specific project and didn’t want to spend a lot of money. These are very nice! The case is durable and holds all the items nicely. Tools appear durable. Very pleased!

Better than Expected for the Price
I purchased this kit because it was cheaper than buying the tools that I wanted separately. There were some tools, such as the included needles, that I didn't anticipate using. For leathercrafts, harness needles are said to work better, and I purchased these separately. As a beginner, I can't really critique the tools. The only real complaint is that a plastic vial containing some needles was crushed, likely at the factory. The pattern tracing and the overstitch wheel have a lot of play, which may or may not be normal. The stitching chisels are 4mm and went through doubled 2/3 oz leather with few problems. The hole punches are likewise sharper than anticipated, though be aware they are for small diameters (this is what I wanted, so it wasn't a disappointment). The beveler is, well, a plain wooden beveler, a little smaller than anticipated, but it works. The metal ruler is just that, a metal ruler, and marked in both metric and US lengths. The combination groover, beveler, and creaser wasn't designed like I expected, but the creaser and bevelers worked. The bevelers are sharp (another surprise), and the one I used did the job nicely. I haven't used the groover yet.Note: The groover tip comes covered with a piece of clear plastic, likely for safety reasons or to prevent damage in shipping. The tiny plastic cover would have to be removed in order for the groover tip to work. So, if you try it and it doesn't seem to work, make sure you've removed that tiny plastic cover. The kit comes with a type of stitching awl that it notched, which I don't know how to use (and may not). It also comes with a regular awl, which I did use and found to be sharp.I don't have a use for the snips or the craft knife, preferring to use what I already had, so I can't comment on these. I also can't comment on the needles for the same reason. The big surprise is the thread. I didn't know what to expect with that and had bought thread separately. But despite some answered questions that say it's cotton, the sample I tested acted like it's synthetic, which was a pleasant surprise. It feels waxed, maybe better waxed than the thread I bought separately. I haven't used the thread in the kit yet, so I can't say how well it stitches or holds up.
