Book 3 is part one of the pirate adventure. As a bodyguard, even a teenage bodyguard, you have to be ready for anything. Stay alert and always evaluate your options. After Conner's first assignment, this looked to be a little easier but wait. Nothing Conner is involved in is easy. Be prepared when you start the book not to put it down!

i loved these books when i found them... i must have read them 3-4 times each. i hope he writes more in this series ;-)

As a middle school librarian, I can't recommend Chris Bradford's books enough. For reluctant readers especially, the non-stop action and engaging characters featured in Bradford's Young Samurai or Bodyguard series will suck them in. After reading, point students toward Chris Bradford's webpage where they can learn about all the things depicted in his books. He knows what he writes about!If you haven't purchased earlier books in this series, go ahead and get them all. If you have earlier books from Amazon UK, double check the editions as the U.S. editions split up the U.K. books. Thanks, Chris, for your amazing books, looking forward to more!
