I'm quite pleased with this little scope. A few years ago we spent quite a bit of money on an inspection camera for our Dad. I remember thinking of several situations where it would come in handy to have something like that, but didn't want to spend that much money. Getting this camera, at this price, seems like a steal.It couldn't have been easier to set up. Downloaded an app, turned on the unit and connected my phone to the wi-fi signal. That's it. Hardest part of set up was getting the little rubber jacket (that allows you to use a suction cup to attach to the back of your phone, depending on your case) on the wi-fi unit.Once you've opened the app, you can see what the camera is picking up. I was surprised how clear the images were. So far, in the short time we've had the camera, we've been able to use it to look at the bottom of our pool, checking a patch that was put on last year and make sure that really was a leaf on the bottom, check out our gutters to see if we had a low spot that was allowing water to stand, and most importantly, been able to show our dog that we really did get the piece of kibble out from under the stove. She still didn't believe us, but she's not big on science and technology so that wasn't a surprise. I will spare you a photo of what is under our stove.I've not quite figured out the mirror attachment yet, but think the hook and magnet will be quite useful. The cable is bendable, but fairly stiff, so you can angle it and bend it as needed. We've seen no issues with submerging the camera in our pool. I really haven't found much to complain about at this point and am thrilled to have this little tool on hand for all kinds of random adventures and mishaps.

No wifi signal, tested on two different phones. Customer service (Frank) was prompt and tried to help - suggested waiting until green light blinked then turn phone wifi on and off, but that didn't work.Returned item. Will try one that plugs directly into phone,edit: seller was very prompt with refund (also offered to send me another one), and informed that by downloading "CameraFi" app it could be plugged directly into phone.Shame this information is not included in the instructions (also the tip to wait until green light is blinking to find WiFi, even though this didn't work for mine). So this is a very good seller, seems I just got unlucky with my unit.

This is fine for the price and is a good choice for occasional use, but it has some limitations. I have to admit I liked using it to look at the back of my throat, etc., but when I tried to use it to take a picture of a bad tile install in the back of my oven, I couldn't get a real picture. The camera is in the front and you have to be pointing right at what you want to see. I could see the light from this showing what I wanted the picture of, but it can't be focused and only showed the spot right in front of the camera clearly. The floor was fuzzy (and not just from dust bunnies). I am also using it to try to find the spot in the wall where a shower pipe is leaking. I am a little concerned that if it is in the water stream it will die and so am trying to get a piece of plastic that will waterproof without causing the picture to be too fuzzy. So far I have not been successful.The instruction book is not good. You need to download an app and use that for this scope. This comes with some pieces (cleaning tools?) that are not explained and I have no idea what I am supposed to use them for. Customer service is an e-mail address.

A most excellent tool for snaking a camera with a light into drains, walls, and other areas you can think of. You connect any phone to it as it becomes a Wi-Fi network you can connect to and see what your scope sees on your phone. The tube if flexible but very stiff, so you can use it to lite attach a wire if you need to run cords through walls as well. Great if you want to also get down in the dirt and use it to inspect bugs, insects, lizards and get a super close up for fun.

This is the neatest gadget for looking into places and spaces that physical limitations prevent. Has a leak behind bathroom sink which I could hear but could not see through the dry-wall. First thing I did was shut off the water supply then deliberated for awhile as to either cut a big exploratory hole to find the leak or use a remote camera device. I ordered the Fantronics 3 meter rigid cable camera and received the next day. A small hole was all that was needed to find the leak and a precision cutting to expose the leaking pipe was made. Repair made with a minimal amount of cutting of the dry-wall. Highly recommend this tool - hard to believe that this level of technology is available as such a reasonable price!

I ordered this to assist me in running some wires inside my walls. I found a spot to drill up from the basement but before going all the way through I saw a piece of romex right where I was about to drill through with a spade bit. This $26 camera saved my gf from a $20,000 funeral for me, and I’m grateful too. I used a grabber tool and moved the romex so I could drill safely.The app is a little glitchy (which is why I gave four instead of five stars) but it works well. Connecting to the camera’s WiFi with my phone was quite easy. Picture is quite clear and the camera/tube is flexible yet stays in place where you bend it.
