Dream Pinball 3D - PC

This game reminds me of the glory days of gaming when I spent more time playing pinball at The Game Room than studying at Northeastern University. But it was time well spent, considering I won a Pinball Wizard T shirt.Since P.C.'s came out I've been looking for a pinball experience like those great machines. This game "Dream Pinball" comes pretty close. The ball physics are some of the best I've seen. The graphics are razor sharp, and each table represents different challenges. The nudge/tilt feature is very realistic, meaning you've got to learn how to use it right or it could hurt rather than help. The background music is well produced, although some of the sound effects and voices can get a bit repetetive after hours of playing. But that's the thing; it's good enough to play for hours!You're going to need a pretty fast P.C. and a good graphics card to take full advantage of this game. I see that it's available new for less than a Dollar from some vendors. That's a lot of bang for the buck! " That deaf, dumb, and blind kid sure plays a mean Pinball "(The Who)

Purchased primarily to play on a new Toshiba running Windows 7 Professional and still have not been able to update graphics drivers, etc to run. HOWEVER, AFTER ALSO INSTALLING IT ON AN OLDER HP WITH VISTA it is running like a charm. I see other reviewers deriding some of the action, but for a '50's pinballer seeking the good old days this was a gread play. I must say I have never seen better online email support to questions, and free analytics of system drivers, etc. These folks are working hard to keep their customers happy. So...for me I'm batting .500...great on one laptop...not running on the other...but overall, I am a happy baller/camper.

Lot's of tables (meaning more than the usual one you get in most pinball titles)helps make this so-so game just a little better. All the tables are basicly the same layout with only different decorations and a variation in the number of poorly visable and poorly functioning flippers. If you're really desperate for a couple of games of pinball this will barely do. Maybe you could let your friends play it when they come over and start bugging you to play something on the computer. That'll get rid of them really quickly!!!

this is the best pinball game i have ever played .So why do the Suck?because no matter where you buy it from it will tell you it has been registerd to many times and you have to call France yes France to get a ativation codei repeate you have to call france to get a ativation code and then it wont let me enter a codeit just beeps when i try to enter a codeWORSE i have gotten it to work its a great game so i bout a 2nd new one so i could skip thecall to france Wrong still had to call soWORSE i bought a down load version to avoid having to call france wgorn still says to manyregisters and even thou Amizon gives you the code it wont let me type anything inGreat game if you get it to work WORST company i have ever delt with i now have 3 copys and i sit here unable to play any of them

I have purchased this 3 times. The first time as a CD and installed it on a computer in my office. I have a great time playing it. I wanted the same opportunity on my laptop, so I could play while sitting in m my rocker recliner and listening to the radio. First, I purchased a download. Never could register it. Made many attempts and even phoned. My daughter, who works daily with computers could not get it to work. So I finally gave up and removed it from my laptop. Well, did it again. I purchased it as a CD from amazon.com. I installed it on my laptop. Experienced the same problem. Could not register it. This time when I phoned, I got nothing but advertisements. I turned 80 years old in February and don't need this agravation. What I need is a game to amuse me while sitting in my rocker recliner. Can't believe I fell for t his twice. Have to chalk it up to old age.

Bought this some time ago and just getting around to writing a review. Loaded it on a computer/video game machine with no internet. So, directions tell you to call a number to get the activation code. The number was a bunch of advertisement's. Sent an email to Germany with the code on the software. They tell me (with broken English) that I had a pirated copy. Now you can play one game for just a little bit and it stops and ask for the activation code.

I love playing Dream Pinball 3D on my HP laptop. It is very realistic compared to the old physical pinball machines I used many years ago. The variety of games makes it interesting and challenging. My only problem is that it won't work on my wife's Toshiba laptop no matter what I do including using the "patch" that Dream Pinball 3D sent to me. It works great on my own HP laptop but not on the Toshiba Also, the price was very reasonable relative to the amount of enjoyment I get from it. I guess it has been on the market for a while and is not brand new, but it is new to me and I think it is great!.
