Excellent Value
I am an MBA student, with a young family and I work fulltime so I have limited time outside of work, school and family. I try to read outside of school and I find Fast Company to be one the most enjoyable business magazines on the market. It is very contemporary and the audience is obviously a 20/30 yr old audience as opposed to some of the other business mags out there. This was a great value for the price, I think I paid $15 for a two yr subscript and you can beat that the kindle edition is also free. The subscription started soon after my purchase and I like that the newest editions of the magazine are immediately available on Kindle to read and I don't have to wait for the snail mail. This would also be a great gift for a business student of any age.

Pro and con
I enjoy this magazine. Had purchased a subscription of this in the past and just renewed.Pro: I got the November issue of the magazine about a week after ordering from amazonCon: I got the old issue a week after I purchased with the understanding that it would be first delivered in 8-12 weeks. What I actually like about this magazine is the same thing that I think a lot of other reviewers seem to dislike. There are many very short articles that really just touch the surface of a variety of topics. It makes the issue seem a bit disorganized (or at least not thematic) but it certainly keeps my attention better when there is an article or two that I am not interested in. I enjoy it in the airport and on the plane. Worth less than a dollar and issue in my book.

Very Insightful Business Magazine
I had heard of Fast Company before when an executive said it was a magazine he really enjoyed. I usually find most popular business magazines dull and poorly written. This is an exception. Articles are entertaining and often provide a unique perspective or idea. As someone who works for a large company that is often times "change-resistant," Fast Company is a breath of fresh air. It provides many examples of how your company -- small or large -- can be poised to take advantage of new technology, understand the latest in consumer trends, and succeed in this economy. It should be required reading for any executive, manager, or employee that is interested in how companies evolve and change.

True to It's Vision
Frankly, I'm disappointed. I was a Fast Company fan for years. About 4 years ago I reinvented myself, starting from scratch. So I cut every penny of expense I could so that my horses and I could make it through. Last Christmas my business took off, so the first of the year I rewarded myself with some things tat were important to me. A new pitchfork for the barn and a subscription to Fast Company. I was excited when the first issue arrived, anticipating reading cover to cover as I had in the past. I got to the back cover unsatiated. No dog ears, no tasty morsels of meat as there had been in the past. So I went online and read the "About Us" page. Ah, I see. This magazine is no longer about pulling oneself up, it's about "global" and "progressive" and "ethical" economics". No wonder the magazine's tweets are wrought with a political persuasion. The reality is true to it's mission. Just not for me. I just want plain old down in the trenches, sleeves rolled up, operate with integrity everyday, business. I love the manure forking of business.

If ya like this type of mag, get FAST COMPANY
I used to get about 10 magazines a month and never had time to read them all. I canceled all of them except FAST COMPANY and love reading it! It's got all kinds of cool tech articles that are good, quick, informative reads. Every issue seems like it is the anniversary issue with some awesome interview in it or great inside info on a company. My wife even started picking it up ( unusual) and loves it. She has even made our kids ( 11 & 13 yr old) read a few of the articles and quizzed them afterwards. If ya like this type of mag, get it. I don't know of any better.

The office that manages subscriptions is obviously confused...
I subscribed to this magazine at the end of Nov 2010. Within a few weeks I received both the Nov 2010 issue and the Dec 2010 issue. I didn't expect to receive the Nov 2010 issue (thought that was a bit cheap since the Dec issue was already out) but it wasn't a deal breaker. This month I received 2 copies of the same issue... hopefully this isn't going to count as me receiving 2 issues! Whatever office manges subscriptions and/or addresses the issues to go out is clearly extremely disorganized. While I like the magazine, if I don't receive 10 unique issues there is no way I will renew the subscription.

AWESOME mag - Compelling stories of Business & Humans - Buy it
Fast Company is a Super Great magazine. They always deliver the goods! I have no idea why it is so cheap, but I'm ok with it. No reflection of the quality, which is top notch. FC brings out compelling stories of business & humans. Reminds me of the long gone "Business 2.0" which I also loved during the dot com boom. I am fascinated by every issue. I give Fast Company my highest rating!

Best for iOS
So much better than the new iOS (iPad-only) app that you are forced to use when subscribing via Apple. This is much smoother and even though it's a bit small on mobile, it's nice to have the option to view on there. Doesn't seem to be accessible on the desktop Cloud Reader, which would have been convenient.

So good!
This has been my favourite magazine for a few months now and I love that the digital edition is so cheap! I'd happily pay £20 a month for this mag so getting it for less than a tenner is insane. Love it!
