Draw Manga Villains: Create 50 Characters

Pretty but not what I was expecting , I just basically bought an art book

It was ok it doesn't teach how to draw villains but is a reference book on child like villains

If you're looking for a book on how to draw great villains (as in deep, memorable, characters) I was semi disappointed in it, but then again it's HOW TO DRAW not how to write, as for what the book contains, Well it's not like a how to draw manga book but rather a what you should add to your character if you want a cool looking villain, sadly there are NO drawing TUTORIALS at all, and the cover on the website (Amazon) is nothing like the copy I actually got except the title (now I'm not sure that the copies of the book with the cover shown online, with the cat girl going Nya arms in the air, are different with my copy, [having a red title with a small flame girl in a Japanese outfit (middle-ish) standing in front of a knight with a snake lower half (right) and some robot girl behind them wearing a hoodie (Left), with a flower like samurai on the back of the book] since I refuse to buy another copy then hope that it's that specific book with that cover only to find out that it's the same thing) Now the only reason why I chose to give it a 3 star rating is because (one I wanted to warn people what actually is in this book, and two) what I was expecting was nothing like what I got, but it had some interesting things that sparked the Ah Ha ideas of my creative range, so it's disapponting but wasn't worthless as it does give some pretty vague and somewhat pointless tips, so if you are a somewhat experienced artist what to draw manga that has hybrid like creatures then this book is a good source of creative ideas to pull from, but for artists that are just starting avoid it as it only will make you focus on the finer details of the creatures without actually showing them, so get this book at a later time, but for others looking for inspiration with some art skills under your belt make this book a secondary priority
