Solid for the price
Setup was simple, no hassle. Shifts clean and hasn’t given me any issues so far, even on bumpy rides. For the price, it’s a really good replacement.

Smooth Operation
Replaced a broken gear for a child at a charity. Nice price and easy to install if you know what you are doing. Hardest part is opening the chain to put it on. Worked smoothly- happy child has his bike back! Comes with everyhting to repair a broken gear.

Works well, but may be missing parts.
I was replacing an old RD-TZ31-A derailleur that was broken. The new work works well and was fairly easy to install, except for a missing part. The direct attachment bolt (Shimano part Y5WS98020) was missing the plastic spacer. I used the spacer from the old derailleur, and it seems to be working okay.

I replaced it with my derailer and it broke!
This bike was given to me with a broken derailer. So I looked it up and I replaced it with the original derailer which was the same one that broke. I was thinking it may have been a rare problem that broke it the first time. But this was the 3rd time out riding after replacing it and it broke the same way the first one did. I stood up to pedal to pick up speed and almost got hurt badly as it snapped off. This derailer is junk. Cheap plastic parts. Do not buy it! I'm sure theres better ones than this, I just bought the same one it used to have because I thought that was the right thing to do. I am going to spend more money and get a full metal one this time.
