Yum Yum Gum (Vanilla)

This was an interesting gum. Don't get me wrong, the flavor was delicious seeing I DO love Waffles & Syrup. However, I found it weird how I was chewing gum while getting the taste seeing it's nothing like biting into a waffle with syrup on it for the same taste. If you can get by that shock, which IS hard, it's not that bad at all.

I like this company's ideas, flavors, and marketing. Its great to see these fun creative flavors. I was disappointed in the texture and consistancy of the gum pellets, I shared some of the cheese cake flavor at work, and we all had the same reaction that the flavor was gone in about 5 minutes on average. I found the same in the other flavors. I really think this product could improve and be really popular . The uniqueness is what appealed to me, but tiny tablets , with quick flavor loss and stringy texture was the down side.

You need to chew two pill sized pieces to have a small piece of gum. Amazon is the best place to get the gum. The gum does taste great, but the flavor dosn't last long. Alot of the flavors aren't available on Amazon. There is a better selection of flavors at the Yum Yum gum web site, but it is much more expensive.

The Buttered Popcorn was a very pleasant surprise, with a combination of corn and butter flavored pieces. Unfortunately, the same artificial butter flavor didn't work as well for the Waffles 'N Syrup flavor, which lacked any sort of maple flavor. The Brownie had a nice, darkchocolate start but the flavor soon faded into a bland reminder that I just dosed myself with a probably toxic amount of Xylitol. Jalapeno had the opposite effect, beginning overly sweet but with a long, lingering afterburn. Recommended if you really want to be able to snack on pickled jalapenos at work without people thinking you are a sociopath. The texture was okay, it's true it can be a little stringy / get caught in your teeth but it wasn't a big deal.

They make some interesting flavors and I do like the containers - but the size of the gum pellets is not great for me and the flavor and consistency was unfortunately not pleasing. The flavor was very artificial and too sweet. I think if the pieces were larger and they tweeked the formula and used less flavoring in the gum base it would be better. However, all that said I am glad I tried it.

The flavor of the gum was really good. It does taste like movie theater popcorn. AT first, it kinda tastes like the butter popcorn Jelly Bellies, but then soon tastes like the real deal. Out of the three flavors I got for my husband, this was his favorite.The pieces are tiny, and the tube is not very big, but it still has an average total amount of servings. The flavor lasts about as long as other gourmet brands I have tried. We love that it is sweetened with xylitol.Unfortunately, this gum was so good that someone stole it off my husband's desk...

Tastes amazing!However, there are significant disadvantages:1) the taste is not long-lasting...the taste is completely gone after just a minute of chewing.2) the pieces are too small- 3 pieces make a piece of gum you are barely able to feel in your mouth3) Price. Just Too High

I was searching for clove gum when I found this. I ordered it despite the bad reviews because it is just way too hard to find anymore. I am very glad I ordered it because, even though the pieces are very small (about the size of 1/3 piece of Dentyne gum) and are coated with something to make them round shaped, it tastes exactly like clove gum did when I was a child. I am 65 now, so that was a long time ago. I am glad I bought it and happy with my purchase of six small bottles of this gum. If you know what cloves taste like, and enjoy that flavor, then you should buy some of it too. I highly recommend it to everyone who enjoys cloves. Once again, I am happy that Amazon and their sellers tries really hard to please their customers. The package arrived a day earlier than the earliest day I was told it would so that was another plus. Don't be afraid to try some of Yum Yum Gum with all their various flavors in the drop-down menu to choose from.
