Flotec TC2502LF Well Pump Brass Check Valve

Installed a new Flotec TC2502LF when I changed out my well tank and well pump.Valve appeared to be well-made, machined threads were uniform, no burrs and the fit was as expected. Valve has been working flawlessly now for about 6 months, and I don't expect to have any trouble with the system. The price was better than any of the local home building supply stores in my area, and the shipping was right on time. I would recommend this valve to all.

Works fine, nothing that screams bad quality.It's actually a Merrill valve, which is fine, they make solid valves.Flotec make great tanks, i don't think the actually MAKE anything else...If your putting in a new well setup: Flotec for the tank, Wayne* or Goulds for the pump, Square D for the switch, Smith for the pressure gauge and Merrill for the valves etc.This would be easier if companies like Flotec could stick to branding there own products.* Their cheapest line is unadulterated cr@p, beyond that they're fine.

Used this on a custom pump setup. Didn't work as I did not have enough pressure to open this valve. It was totally an experiment and although it didn't work in my application, it is a great check valve and I'm sure I'll use it for some other project soon.

it's a check valve, it works, quality seems good at least when new. ask me again in 20yrs if it is actually good

I had to return this check valve as it was not the size I needed. I gave it one star because it looked like a well-built product but just not the part I needed.

Replace an older plastic check valve with this brass check valve when all interior well equipment was replaced after 20 years of operation. This check valve appeared to be much more heavy duty.

This is a 1" brass check valve. Some answers provided mentioned different sizes but that is not the case. I just installed one yesterday when I replaced my water pump and well pressure tank. I used a 1.25" to 1" adapter on from the pump to get to 1" piping and this is a direct fit for 1" pipe thread.The name on the box was Parts20 but the part number was exactly the same. No issues with the check valve. It works as advertised and now I have running water in the house again!SteveK
