Great case
Love this case, has been fantastic for my son as he is rough on phones! Snow lizard, please reach out as I would like to get a replacement piece for the case, the piece pictured in the photo… The two clips have broken.

I really likes the idea of a built in solar panel even though it is unnecessary unless you are stranded
I have been searching for a very durable charge case for the iphone 7 and this was about my only choice. I really likes the idea of a built in solar panel even though it is unnecessary unless you are stranded. Upon getting the case, It was a lot bigger than I expected which was not a problem to me. I slipped my phone into it and it latched well with a well designed locking mechanism. The phone seemed to be slightly loose in the case. The first thing I noticed it it is difficult to scroll because the screen protector seems too far from the screen and was very difficult to press small buttons in the corner. The sound quality is not very distorted which was great but nobody could hear me on the phone. Also, it may have slightly screwed with my reception. Whenever the solar panel was exposed to the sun it would charge my phone and stop repeatedly i guess to use power cause the backup battery was fully charged. Sometimes the battery would not charge my phone when I pressed the button but then it would start when I exposed it to sun. It all went downhill when I was showing it to my friend and put it at the bottom of a fountain. Although the case seemed very sealed and secure, a large amount of water immediately got into it, breaking the case and making my phone so it does not charge anymore. The case was ruined by water and caused my phone to be ruined too. It is an iphone 7 so I thought it would be ok with a little water but it still broke. The case is a fantastic idea but needs a complete redesign and I would very much like a refund and one of the cases when they are hopefully redesigned. I owned it for a little over a week before it broke. That week though, I felt very safe with my phone because the shock proofing it amazing with this case but that is about the only pro.

Amazing case
Great product. Just muffles your voice when using the phone but it is great for outdoor use when u don’t want ur phone wet or broken.

No one can hear you, it doesn't charge the phone while plugged in, charging port cover breaks easily
Overall and for the price this case fails to deliver. It is truly waterproof and durable. If you are outside or in harsh environments a lot it will protect your phone. It will charge your phone about twice on a full charge-sort of. Unless you are going to have your phone in EXTREME dust or water conditions you're better off getting a durable battery case that doesn't guarantee waterproof. That's what I had before and it lasted much longer before it finally cracked.Other than that there isn't much to say.1. People can't hear you talk. Because it is truly waterproof it blocks sound unless you have a very large head. No one can hear me talk if I don't move the phone so my mouth is speaking directly into the bottom of the case.2. It doesn't charge the phone while you charge the case. I think if your phone dies or gets very low you can plug it in and charge the phone but it will still charge the case first and it takes 4-6 hours to charge. But usually you have to charge the case and then charge the phone from your case. This is a MAJOR design flaw. If your phone is fully charged you can recharge it twice from a fully charged case, but unless you take the phone out and charge it and the case overnight you never really get the benefits of a battery case.4. After a few months the battery doesn't seem to hold as much. It seems to only charge my phone 1.5 times instead of two.3. Like all of these cases the weak link is the little flap that folds over the charging port to keep it protected. It is smaller than 1/8 in (3 mm) so it tears easily. Mine broke after less than three months and I couldn't find it.4. The solar panel is just a gimmick. Maybe if you are in equatorial countries you could get enough sun to really charge it, but I think it would take 12-24 hours of direct sunlight to fully charge this thing. A few hours makes no difference to the battery charge indicator even though it indicates it is getting enough sunlight to charge (the battery life indicator changes from blue to green when there is enough voltage from the solar panel on the back).5. It's very thick (7/8 in, 22 mm). I like a big phone case and the size doesn't bother me. But everyone seems to comment on how huge it is. This might deter some people.

Short term relationship..
Pretty pleased with the battery life extension, and I did end up dropping it quite a few times. One of the times apiece of the product must’ve cracked making the case no longer waterproof… As pictured. And then unfortunately the phone slipped from my hand today when I was removing it from its case and a little piece that sticks inside the phone to charge it snapped off inside my phone. My phone is not damaged. But I am wondering whether to replace pretty please with the battery life extension, and I did end up dropping it quite a few times. My other major problem with the case is that everybody who I talk to, I need to take the phone out of the case in order for them to hear me, otherwise it has sounded to multiple people like I am underwater. I figure it is a waterproof design of the case that protects peoples ears from the water molecules of my voice. Otherwise I have enjoyed the heaviness and durability that it temporarily brought, since I work outdoors with children near a creek. I had my phone for two days before I was starting to give me symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, and having that fat heavy phone case helped with that sensation pretty immediately. I never quite figured out if the solar panel was of any help. I miss it already. Rest in pieces.
