IF ANYONE HAS OWNED AN E53 BMW X5 LONG ENOUGH, YOU PROBABLY HAVE BROKEN DOOR HANDLES FROM THE OUTSIDE OR BAD WINDOW REGULATOR. IF ITS THE DOOR HANDLES, THEN THIS IS THE PERFECT REPLACEMENT. FUNCTIONS AND FEELS LIKE OEM! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Workmanship issues
Bolted in with some difficulty, but with effort the exterior handle was able to get mounted to the unit. I ultimately got it to work, but it failed 2 days after the return window closed. This is mh 3rd door handle install on the bmw x5, both fronts completed and this rear one. No issues w fronts. Bummed to have to absorb the cost and do the job over again. If yours is very tight when installing, and any of the screws don't line up preciaely, take it out and return it while you can. It may not last long.

some of the casting parts are smaller than should be, makes install very hard, best to stick withquality name brand parts when you do an involved job, makes your life a whole lot easier,pay more for pc of mind. Good seller though, fast ship.

The product did not fit my car, the quality was subpar.

All is good but the cable cap doesn’t fit securely. Kept coming off. Not recommended.
Probably better off going original parts or used parts.
