EXCELLENT QUALITY

I’ve had this a month or so it seems to be working fine. Very easy to calibrate with the preset calibrations.

The unit stopped working unexpectedly. I purchased it in January and installed it on the excavator in August. Unfortunately, it failed in less than two months of use, which is highly disappointing given the expected durability.

For those of you leaving one-star reviews on this product, do a bit of research and maybe call Fill-Rite customer service. Their tech support is the BEST! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help. I had mine for about a year then for some reason the display was coming on but the meter display was staying at all zeros. Not good. So, I called tech support and they asked me to read the serial number on the bottom to them, which determines the date of manufacture and sale. If it's under TWO YEARS they replace it! How 'bout THEM apples!

I installed this on my farm diesel tank that sits outside in the sun/weather. It was easy to install/setup and worked great for about 4 months. Then the rubber cover came off and soon thereafter the unit would no longer count gallons (but fuel would flow through it). When I got done harvesting, I called the customer service department. I told them my meter broke and I wanted a more reliable mechanical unit (which evidently costs more). They sent me the mechanical replacement which mounts directly to my specific pump -- at no cost. The technical support rep (Jeff) was very knowledgeable, very responsive and easy to talk to. It was a welcome change to other customer service interactions I've had elsewhere. Alhough the product did not last long for me (I would have given it 1 star), the customer service more than made up for it. Even though the meter appears to be well sealed, you may want to be careful using it where it will be outside all the time. Also, I used a pipe sealant for installation. Although I'm relatively confident I didn't put too much on, I would recommend using Teflon tape to prevent sealant from migrating into the meter.

Put these on all my farm's transfer pumps. Small, easy to read, easy to use. Only had them 4 mon so I don't know how well they hold up, but they seem pretty tough and well made

I hated to spend the money considering the less expensive ones on amazon but it is well worth the piece of mind it works and hopefully lasts.

Had to turn the display around to get the arrow in the right direction the instructions should tell you that I have it on 100 gallon tidy tank gas once we got it going it works really good

Meter worked for a month and now quit working. Has nothing in the display.

The meter works fine, as it should, but the black plastic cover is not fuel compatible. The original one got real soft and mushy after a short time. I contacted the manufacturer and they replaced it but the second one is just the same. The cover really doesn't do anything, it is just for looks, and maybe a bit of protection for the meter.
