Can the lower body harness be used for practicing kicks?

Hi Robby, The ankle bands are designed primary for boxing footwork and reinforcing correct stance. However, it can still be used to strengthen muscle groups such as abductors, flexors and extensors. What’s the resistance on these ? I just placed my order

Thanks for your question Kamiekca! We tend to avoid specifying the resistance as a number as it changes depending on the stretch of the bands, and the size of a person (e.g larger back, longer reach, wider stance etc). The more you stretch the bands, the more resistance is felt. The type of grip you choose can also influence the resistance for the upper body band as can be seen in this video. At minimal stretch, - The upper body band provides around 40lbs resistance. - The ankle bands provide around 30lbs resistance. Through testing, we’ve fine tuned the resistance to allow the perfect balance between developing strength/power and developing endurance from longer workouts. Hope that helps! Gyro Fitness

Does the band go outside the forearms or inside of them? Basically does the band go around the outside of forearms or around the ribs?

Anyone wear this while working a heavy bag?

I haven’t. It probably wouldn’t work out very well since you are holding the handles and your gloves wouldn’t fit around them. I suppose you could do it without gloves, but that’s a good way to screw up your hands in the long run. This is more about resistance training while shadowboxing.
