I swear on Maui Babe if you want a fast, beautiful and natural tan. I have been using it for over 10 summers now and it gives my skin such a natural summer tan. It can be used on all skin types as it just soaks into your skin and you can put on as little or much as you want. It is not waterproof. I start by putting on my SPF, then apply Maui Babe all over my body and then I use a bronzing oil. Make sure that you rub it in really good because it can streak, so put it on once the SPF dries or put it on before SPF. I do recommend carrying baby wipes or toilet wipes so you can wipe off your hands because it will stain your hands. Be careful also when putting it on around your swimsuit as well because it will get on your clothes and possibly stain it. However, I have no problem getting it out of my bathing suit or towel when I wash them. I do use the after sun lotion once I get out of the shower and believe it does help to keep my tan last. My skin stays tan long after the summer season is over for about 4-5 months and I honestly believe it is because of the Maui Babe. I have heard of other people using it as a self tanner. The Maui Babe and the After Sun lotion do have a mild smell to it that does linger however it goes away. I do not have any skin sensitivity to it or breakouts. I do not use it on my face as my skin is sensitive to breakouts so I don’t want to use it on my face. Some of my friends do use it on their face and have not problems. If you are looking for the best bronzer to help speed up tanning goal then Maui Babe is your choice.

This stuff does smell odd, but it works like magic. I always wear sunscreen underneath because I wanna get tan but I also know skin cancer exists… Even with SPF 30 underneath, I still get tan using this stuff. It’s awesome! It did stain one of my bikinis, but I typically only use it when I’m tanning on my back deck at home in my dedicated ‘tanning bikini’ so I don’t mind :)

Mine ended up breaking before getting to me but other wise I’ve used the product before and love it. It does have a brown tint to it so it does show up on your clothes/ bathing suit so beware. But the after lotion was perfect and soothing.

I have been using this product for years. It is unlike any other tanning product out there. You need to use it over suntan lotion so you don't burn. The results are a beautiful, brown tan, no yellowing and it works pretty quickly. Several friends have begun using it after they noticed I was getting a quicker, more beautiful tan, when we were out in the sun the same amount of time. It has a soft, pleasant coffee aroma, not overwhelming. The after-sun lotion has a pleasant fragrance and is very moisturizing. You won't be disappointed!

This is my fault. I read the reviews and thought, “This will be different for my fair skin.” No. This is a tanning oil and you WILL burn with it if you are not already tanned. My arms already have a tan so they got a bit darker and didn’t burn. But my legs, stomach, face and chest are fried. I wasn’t even out for an hour and I am burnt to a crisp. I put a TON of the after sun lotion on and while it did take a good bit of the sting and heat away, I’m still very, very red the next day. Like I said, this is my fault for thinking this would brown my white, fair skin. I know my skin, I should have known better. This isn’t a bad review on the product, as they actually advise you to wear sunscreen with it. This is just a warning that all of the reviews claiming the after sun lotion makes the red burn brown over night or that the tanning lotion took them from white to tan are not true for everyone. Use with caution!

I have never had a tanning product work so well for me. First off let me start with saying that how quick it works is based off of where you are in the world in my experience. For example, if you are at the beach or an island or somewhere the sun is closer to the equator, it works quicker. If you are somewhere further north, it takes a bit longer, but still not by much. I would say only about a 15-30 minute difference for seeing results varying UV index. This product has definitely made it easier to tan living up north. And the aftercare lotion with this stuff is *chefs kiss*. I would put the aftercare stuff on after laying out on the beach and getting red like Larry the Lobster, then would wake up the next day with a tan and moisturized skin. Plus, with working, it makes it harder to spend my day soaking in the sun(sadly). But I still have a great tan after a week. Also, I am a skincare finatic and this did not make my face breakout or anything. (It does also have a sort of molasses smell but it really isnt horrible). So yes, buy the product. It’s so worth it.
