General Mills Frute Brute Breakfast Cereal, 15.8 oz Box

This is the cereal that was popular when our daughter was little. And when I found it I bought a box for her for her Bachelorette party and she was so surprised. She was telling all pary goers about it. Ty for making her special day a hit.

1. The box says it's cherry flavor, but it definitely tastes like strawberries.2. It's such a different taste from the other monster cereals. In a good way.3. Parts of the powder coating fall off the cereal and kind of fuse with the milk. So in a way you get strawberry milk.It's cereal and I have nothing but good experience with the monsters. I'm sad they're limited to Halloween but they are an immediate buy.

As a kid, Frankenberry cereal was always a favorite. Frute Brute was discontinued when I was super young, so I don't remember it as well, but the flavor is so good. It's not an extremely crunchy cereal but it has enough crunch to be satisfying and the marshmallows are so good. The cherry flavor isn't subtle either. I hope this one stays on the market like the others every Halloween! Give it a shot.

For a seasonal change of pace this was an interesting try. I would rate count chocula first, then booberry, frute brute as the third best and Frankenberry as the absolute worst and they shouldn’t make it anymore. Overall it was a fun change of pace but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Of the Monster Cereals, Fruit Brute is THE BEST, seriosly Boo Berry is a lame distant fifth in a horse race of four! Place goes to Frankenberry and Show goes to Count Chocula.

Received unopened box well before expiration date. Fresh and tasty just like I remember as a kid. Only complaint is box was slightly damaged during shipping. Still good for display once empty.

Taste great and box art is cool added it to the collection.

Bought this for nostalgia sake. I don't know if it's that I'm adult and my tastes have changed, or they changed the recipe, but it basically tasted like a communion wafer with the faintest hint of fruit flavoring. Still, I'm glad to see Fruit Brute get a release this year.
