Silhouettes

Beautiful and sophisticated music.I am in love with Complicated, a very cool techno, trip-hop, dance-y kind of tune. Honestly, a lot of the songs are slower paced but they really creep up on you and work their way into your psyche.

Saw this group on TV, and loved their music! Great cd! ( has sounds like Coldplay)

Love coming home from work and popping this album on while I get changed and clean up the place.

The title track is amazing but love the entire CD. Really enjoy their music, so glad we recently discovered them. Planning to buy their other CD too.

This album is beautiful! Definitely a balladeers paradise to listen to.

Not bad, but not what I prefer musically. Too much added production. I was hoping it would be more stripped down with just the two of them on piano and guitar. That was my impression when I first found them after watching the videos on their Facebook page. Definitely a group that would be nice to see live, there was just too much production on the record for me to even finish it, it was too poppy and not enough melancholy. Very talented duet though, I hope the best for them.

La música de esta banda es tan hermosamente triste, es algo nuevo e innovador que deberías tener en tu colección. Tengo que mencionar que las letras son impresionantes. Me encantó

Aquilo non li conoscevo. Amazon con le sue "affinità" in base alle scelte fatte me lo ha proposto. Strepitoso. Prima di acquistarlo, rigorosamente in vinile ( da sempre compro musica su questo supporto ), ho voluto sentirlo tramite Spotify e alla fine era sempre caricato in un loop continuo come sottofondo di accompagnamento mentre lavoro al pc. 'Silhouettes' è un compendio degli anni precedenti più qualche inedito. Ogni traccia del disco è bella e mai si ripete con la precedente, c'è da dire che tutte hanno la caratteristica di comunicare una nota melanconica di fondo molto bella, anche quelle con più ritmo. Geniale "Complication" e meravigliosa " Waiting", ma anche "Sorry". Insomma tutto il disco è un sali/scendi di emozioni, non cattura subito al primo ascolto ma con il tempo e alla fine non ti molla più. Lo consiglio. Registrazione su vinile ottima, il supporto è assolutamente privo di rumori. Amazon eccellente nella consegna

Excellent premier album ! Aquilo est un duo anglais qui mériterait d'être plus connu en France. Je recommande ce CD.

Ein unglaubliches Album voller Gefühle. Es ist erstaunlich, was Musik in einem erwecken kann. Es ist zwar sehr melancholisch aber irgendwie genau das richtige für die kalte Jahreszeit oder um Ruhe zu finden.

I have been listening to their music for a few years now. It was while I was watching Saving Hope Hospital Series I found some great artists that I had not heard before. One of them was Aquilo and have been a fan since, I have yet to see them live but have downloaded a lot of videos on YouTube.I love all the tracks on the album especially Silhouettes and Blindside. Three of their songs I have on some of their EP's. I played the album to a customer in my Taxi and she loved it.I cannot believe how Tom and Ben have great voices and harmonise so well for their age, unbelievable. At times it sends a tingling sensation down my spine.I would recommend this album to any one thinking on buying it.
