Great value for the price
This is exactly what I expected, and it works great.I got this to measure case neck thickness on brass rifle cases, and it works great for that purpose, and is accurate enough for the tolerances I'm working with. I check it against a couple of standards periodically, and once set, it hasn't needed adjustment. The dial spins with a bit of stiff resistance, but it's not bad and doesn't deter from its usability. You can buy pretty much the same quality of tool branded by one of the major reloading suppliers, and pay 50% more for the same quality and accuracy. It's a cheap Chinese-made tool, so my expectations were pretty low; I'm not expecting Mitutoyo or Starrett quality and feel. Considering it is accurate and repeatable, and considering the cost, this is a fantastic value.

Measuring tool
Great quality for the price. The tool to use to measure tube or round stock accurately. Originally purchased to measure cartridge thickness but have found other uses. I would recommend this to others.

Good Value Nice Tool
I went with this economical model of Tube Micrometer as it is a very seldom needed tool for me. I find this to be a fine tool for the price point and is accurate to the limit of my ability to test it. I believe it is a tool that will last and stay accurate as long as it is given the proper care and feeding like any fine shop instrument. Well now that I have one I have found uses for it that I did not know I had. When it is convenient to measure an odd shape like a tube or other irregular non-flat part you find yourself measuring stuff just because you can, and there is no such thing as too much knowledge about the dimensions of the parts you are working on, better to know the size and not need the information than not know at all. You run into tube stock that the hole is not exactly in the center and this is a great tool to determine the consistency of the wall thickness thus knowing the egocentricity of the bore to the exterior. I can highly recommend this micrometer for it's intended use and for others you may dream up. If like me you have a home hobby shop and you are not doing Rocket Surgery or the like and just need to find the size of the occasional item and don't want to spend a fortune for the measuring equipment this should do the trick for you, it is doing it for me.

Excellent micrometer at a great price
I'm using this micrometer to measure neck thickness as I make Fireball brass from .223 Remington. It's accurate to well within 0.001", and looks pretty good to 0.0001". Mine has smooth travel of the thimble and is very repeatable. No complaints at all, and I do recommend this mic to anyone needing a precise tool at a good price.

Works Good, but will take a little time for the beginner.
Product arrived on time. Decent quality. give good and consistent reading after calibrating. Ratchet stop knob works adequately. construction is solid for the price. Readings take practice and getting used to. Included instruction on use, were good enough to help figure it out. At test rod to check measurement and calibration would have been nice.

Works, with work
Was not initially impressed. Couldn’t get consistent readings, ratchet was very tight and would bend the frame.Took it apart, cleaned and lubed everything, now it works flawlessly. Exactly consistent to the 0.0001” every time. Also had to zero it using another gage block as it doesn’t come with one.I use this for measuring bearing shells for engines.
