Garage Wall Protector Car Door Protectors Ultra Thick Foam Wall Bumper

I wanted to attach something on the wall next to where I park my vehicle. Every time my kids and I open the doors we knock them on the garage walls. You need to be at least two person to stick both ends and maybe a third to direct if it is straight or not. Adhesive is very strong so it is not easy to take off if you make a mistake. I bought white and therefore is not necessary to paint over it. It does the job brilliantly. No more damaging vehicle doors.

My garage is just 10' wide, so I have to be very precise when I park my small SUV. Regardless, the walls were taking a beating, so after repairs and new paint, I applied this material to the walls to avoid further damage. The wall protector comes in two rolls and has an adhesive back. After cleaning the walls with alcohol, measuring, and marking, I cut the material to size and applied it to the walls, removing the backing paper a few inches at a time as I pressed the protector firmly to the wall. Note that the material CANNOT be removed from drywall, so you have to get it right the first time. I also applied a strip to the wall by the trash receptacles, as well as to the corners of a small desk with metal edges that I have in the guest room. So far, the material is adhering tightly, given a temperature range of 34 - 73 degrees. Time will tell how well it adheres in a wider temperature range, but so far I'm very pleased with this simple solution to avoiding wall damage.

If you live in Texas, you know that heat and adhesives are not a great mix. Had no problem applying this to the drywall in my garage to protect it/the car from scratches. The surface texture of the pad gives it a nice look and the 1/4 thickness is the only size I'd buy since it seems as if it would be the minimum needed to protect well. I only needed to use one of the two pads so far since the doors of the two cars that might go there line up quite well on one pad, but nice to have the other in case I need to cover another area or something else. I had my spouse help me install with the help of a level and it went on very easy. Just peeled a bit of the backing and started at one end. I kept it level while applying and my spouse peeled the backing as we went. Just took a few minutes and zero issues with it sticking even on the edges. I did lay out the roll on the floor for a week so it was very flat which may have helped us. Will update my review if anything changes over time.

He have a new home and was worried about hanging tools and the large garbage bins making dings in the wall. These worked perfectly, and look pretty good. Like that the length was enough to protect the wall from the two large garbage bins.

Using on garage wall to protect against car doors hitting the concrete wall. Pretty simple to use. I cut in half as my front car doors hit differently than the back car doors. Easy to cut. Then easy to peal off protective layer on back. Press to concrete and strips stay in place. Now doors have cushion to hit vs concrete. Pad is thin but enough for protection. Overall this was a great protection added.

This was just what I needed to cover up existing damage and prevent future damage. I really like the texture on the foam and appreciate how large the sections are. My teenage son has still managed to make some dent marks in the foam, but it is barely noticeable. He certainly claims he can’t see them. Great product and highly recommend! I don’t care that it will likely damage all the dry wall if I ever decide to remove it because it is covering an area that was already damaged.

Have had these about 5 months and they got the job done until weather changed from cold to warm recently here in Chicago. Garage is exposed brick and I came out this morning to see that a) most of the adhesive has decided to stop working and has peeled itself off the wall and b) my wife drove over some as she pulled in and it still sticks well enough to adhere to tires and nearly wrap around the axel if you're not paying attention. These are probably going to work best on a non porous surface especially when you've in a climate with drastic temperature flux... things tend to expand and contract--even bricks--which make it challenging for something like this to stay stuck. They did prevent a lot of damage from loading/unloading a two year old in a tight space so it was still worth the money but I'd like to see something that does a more effective job on porous brick without having to go out and invest in additional special adhesive.

Love this product. Put it on the concrete sides walls of garage to ensure no denting of car when opening doors or damaging of garage. Can peel off and reposition - Smashing idea and very, very practical.

Protezione comprata con un po' di scetticismo per le pareti del mio posto auto non lisce e per una colonna già 'smussata' da altri che non sembrava consentire una idonea stesura della protezione .. Che dire, aderisce perfettamente e lo spessore mi sembra giusto. È proprio un prodotto tedesco. Il costo è corretto perché sono due belle strisce che consentono, se tagliate, di coprire tutti i punti a rischio. La consiglio sicuramente.

En plus au vu de la souplesse, on peut faire des angles et épouser les formes du support. Bien appliquer à hauteur du rétroviseur ou des passages de roues (les éléments les plus larges de la voiture pouvant toucher le mur !!). Très content, j'en ai même recommandé un 2nd pack pour un autre coin du garage !

Es perfecto. Merece la pena comprar este articulo a otros más baratos. Fácil de colocar. Se puede rectificar al ponerlo. No deja residuos en la pared al retirarlo. Y es más discreto que los rayados rojos y blancos o amarillos y negros. Proteje el coche de un despiste.
