This is great to get all the sides you’d want for a puzzle in one tool. I was looking for other punchers mainly for paper that all have the different shapes but would be multiple punchers to buy. This is definitely cheaper than getting multiple and the puncher is much stronger than paper punchers to handle the foam. Just make sure you keep the drawer catch in place each time you punch or you might have stuff accidentally stuck in the drawer spot! It doesn’t come with instructions but it is pretty simple to use. I would test on some paper to get a feel for the tool before using it on the fish with a picture.

I did not think this would work but it DID. It is fun to print out pictures and send them to people to figure out.

The pieces are very flimsy after they have been cut. When you try to piece the pieces together to put the puzzle together, the end parts that go into each other does stay together. It’s as if the mouth of one part is too big for the other part. If you decide to use this product, you can only put the puzzle together one time and one time only. Bad quality foam.

1st - I only received 7 foam boards, not 10 as advertised. 2nd - The foam boards I received were not adhesive as advertised. 3rd - 2 of the foam boards I received were crumbled and torn and therefore unusable. 4th - This will not cut anything thin or flimsy or too thick. It does cut the foam boards it came with well and works well for that. This would have been 5 stars if I had been provided all the correct advertised materials.

This cutter is better than the blue one from a different brand and produces cleaner edges. However, the foam it comes with is too thick, and because of this, the machine ends up scratching the image when feeding it through. It also becomes difficult to slide the picture into the machine, and the unit is louder than expected. Another issue is that if a piece gets stuck, you don’t realize it until you insert the next one, which can damage the puzzle piece. The side drawer is a nice idea to keep pieces from flying everywhere, but if you’re not paying close attention to how full the drawer is, it can cause damage to the puzzle pieces. It’s best to remove the drawer and let the pieces fall out freely.

Works good but loud when cutting My dog goes crazy when it snaps a piece

This is such a great little machine. Even my 3yr old can do the punch with a little adult help getting the photo aligned. Its so much easier to use than I expected, the pieces line up perfectly all the way to the end. We love making our own puzzles with family photos.

I purchased this green and one in red. They both work flawlessly. I'm not sure what the 1-star review is all about, but I have no complaints about my purchase, which is why I ended up with two! I wanted to have a backup.
